Hi Andy!
Well, my thought was--depending *why* he wants to bulk out. Is it for
defense / offense (maybe metal), or egotism (e.g. sulph) or to fit in
and put on a good show (maybe thuja), or to be more studly (maybe
animal), or ?? (Maybe this came out in what was posted earlier; I
can't remember--but in any case the lach / causticum connection does
sound good to keep in mind!)
Cheers,
Shannon

bulking up could simply be because he does care about his appearance
and maybe he's a bit thin and puny

not sure if his appearance has
been described or what rx have been given yet but I would include the
calcareas, especially calc silicata, to have a look at. Joy

I'll check out Lachesis with him. Calc Sil (Joy) he is not. I gave that once to a woman successfully so I am reasonably sure of the picture.
The first job is to get rid of the acne from appearing and then deal with the blue scarring which BTW is not raised. It is particularly bad on his chest.

He is over 6 foot and broad with it!!! He wants to go on the oil rigs eventually and maybe he thinks bulking up at the gym will help him!!

I won't push the Calc-sil then but just to say that the calcarea
influence can make the build 'large but needing strength' (just like
calc carb can be large/plump or thin/wasted) but it does address the
pustular acne that leaves a bluish tinge. But casn I ask why you gave
Causticum then. Best wishes, Joy

Dear Joy,
My reasons for giving Causticum were after the discussion of this case previously around 15th June. It was after reading Soul of remedies. I have also had success with acne in a teenager before using Causticum.
