Have you considered giving him a dose of Alcoholus 30c? It can really help
with the type of heartburn you describe, especially given the probable
cause.

Thanks for that. It is not a Rx I am familiar with but have just read about
it. I don't think the heartburn is a new Sx but something he has had before
he started drinking alcohol. I will check up on this though.
