You see, you are still not getting it are you? Apart from those who
suggested we treat the termites (which is wrong because we treat that
which has succumbed, not the named disease) the analogy presented was
perfectly Hahnemannian and no umbrella needed (except for the insults
raining down). When we give a homeopathic rx, i.e. the simillimum, the
'disease' is repelled, mainly because that which succumbed to it is now
able to resist it further - it has been matched, but also maybe because
the remedy has provoked something within the named disease, that which
aids its disappearance. We don't know for sure, we still don't have
enough science to tell us. But I don't see why further scientific and
homeopathic exploration shouldn't give us those answers and still be
called homeopathic.
Perhaps you can illustrate how the discussion went outside of
homeopathy, instead of just saying that it has because you misread it
or misunderstood it. You seem to be persisting with the erroneous
'treat the termite' scenario - why? You are accusative towards some of
us, saying we have digressed from our principles but you still haven't
said how and I for one contest that I haven't anyway. We also now seem
to have non-believers of miasmatic theory. I trust you will be
challenging that and say how it might mislead students and others on
this list as you claim this thread has.
So still waiting for you to say how what was discussed did not conform
to Hahnemann's homeopathy.
If, for example, Carbo veg was given to the shed analogy (in whatever
potency, dose you might choose) and the termites were expelled, what
say you then. We know the principles that would be in operation here,
including sx similarity, albeit minimal as you have with one sided
diseases, so why do you have such a problem defining it as being
homeopathic?
Putting aside analogies, termites and sheds, and coming back down to
earth where you prefer to be - you promote combo rx, so to what extent
is that following Hahnemannian methodology? To what extent is that
homeopathic? Where is the sx similarity there in any of the combo rx.
What does become a problem, for me anyway, is when you summarise what
some people have written that deviates from what they actually offered
- that is gutter press tactics and not to be trusted.
Come on answer a few questions instead of accusing - based on
misreading of texts presented. Joy
