Hi Carol,
Was it you by any chance who read one of my miasm articles and made a
comment? IF it was, I'd be really interested in what exactly you saw
because I did not seem to agree with it and I wanted to clarify.

Unfortunately we've still to develop the interactive debate section of
the ezine based on articles printed there - but plans are in the offing.
thanks,
leela

I remember making a positive comment, but not much detail, nothing
critical as I recall. Your article seemed in contrast to Vijayakar's
use of remedies as narrowly correlated to miasms, and I understood
your article to open up each remedy to any/all miasmatic expressions
with examples as to how those differ. That is all.
I find both views most interesting.

Carol

Dear Carol,
Ahh, then its you! That great to know. Thanks for your feedback at
that time.

Ok I"m still a little confused by what difference you see. I did write
one miasm article on Vijaykar, while the previous was of the Dhawle's
ICR. I did remark in the 4th article (The Way Forward) that while
Vijaykar seems to assume only 1 remedy may be needed by a person for
complete cure, the ICR considers that other remedies may be needed
either as intercurrent or to follow and complete the cure. I am in
favour of teh latter, though the former could hold in some cases.

I"m sorry for being such a 'duh', but could you tell me again if this
is what you were saying? MAybe with specific sentences that I wrote if
I haven't yet got it...?
Thanks a lot,
leela

This is a point I have been curious about...
What would you (or anyone) make of a case where Lyssin seemed clearly
indicated and hugely helpful in a toddler, yet no one was aware of any
connection with rabies?

Hello Leela,
Yes I agree, I said it in a similar way in an earlier mail.

But this is David Little is saying:
WE GENERALLY THINK OF the gonorrhea of Neisser as the only pathogenic agent
involved in the transmission of the sycotic syndrome, but this may not be
the complete picture. The sycotic miasm also causes a person to become
susceptible to a whole range of venereal disorders. The most probable
candidates are chlamydia, trichomonas vaginalis, ureaplasma urealyticum, and
candida albicans.

Hi Leela, It was the article with the different miasmatic
expressions of a single remedy
e.g. Sulphur, and possibly some other remedy
examples were used also. How about posting some urls for this
article series so everyone can reference your interesting
work here? (and btw I thought I had signed my comments to the
ezine.)

All medicines are homeopathic medicines first and nosodes next - by
which I mean a nosode can be indicated in a non-nosodal way. All
remedies we consider amtimiasmatic or chronic or constitutional or
whatever can also prescribed based on symptoms ( as acutes).

This was indicated very much on its symptom picture, definitely not
given "as a nosode", but was very chronic, deep, and extreme.
(Tantrums, night terrors, chronic fearfulness with NO identifiable
cause)

But, I think I understand your point, will have to chew on it a bit!
Thanks

+++Hi Piet, He isn't saying very much different. He's saying the same
the same thing from a different angle.
Hahenmann mentioned a few pathogenic organisms that cause the miasms.
Psora: Scabies, Leprosy bacilli
Sycosis: Gonorrhea (and actually even EB Virus - based on the
manifestation of cauliflower growths)
Syphilis: T. Pallidum

What David has done is to add more organisms to this list, becasue we
are aware of more organisms and thier clincial manifestations today.
Following this, we have a chiken and egg situation where the
development of the miasmatic expression due to the initial infection
is passed on through generations through hereditary traits. Thus we
have an inbuilt hereditary trait latent or active that exhibits a
Sycotic miasmatic expression first as in a child.

the next aspect is the susceptibility, with a strong Sycotic
background to other veneral organisms, which someone of a strong
PSoric maismatic background is not easily susceptible to - and hence
people with Sycosis more easily pick up furthur venereal infections
like Chlamydia, Candida, Trichomona, etc. they are simply more
vulnerable to these infections.

I had a chat with David about something in similar lines, and he
confirmed that he and I thought alike - which is also SIMILAR to the
Dhawle's ICR theory of Disease progression (My miasm artcile II).
Hope this helps,

Hi Carol,
HEre is the link to the Miasms Article I wrote based on Vijaykar's book.
http://www.hpathy.com/philosophy/dsouza-miasm4.asp
Its where I emntioned Vijaykar's case of SUlphur showing the
multimiasmatic expression of Sulphur.
Its possible to have these type of cases. BUt there are amny cases
where one remedy is not going to be adequate.
I'll be interviewing Vijaykar when I'm able to get to Mumbai next.
then I'll ask him directly about what he feels about this in his
clinical experience.

The comments go directly the the editor/webmaster: Dr. MAnish Bhatia.
BUt he posted your note for all of us with your name - so that's why I
remembered it was from a Carol W...
Glad to meet you :)
