Meaning lack of reaction to *remedies* in these various situations?

Thanks Carol,
The idea of low cortisol makes sense, as there are definite adrenal
issues.
But how to use this for prescribing... (Tho it does give me ideas for
herbs, if it comes to that!)

Consider diurnal cortisol tesing (look at cortisol levels 4x a day),
white cells, and thyroid for reality check.
See what's "out" first the then investigate causes.
There are undoubtedly more symptoms than
stated, tracking how far back they go, causes. Miasmatic?
a lot of invalidation, criticism, or other abuse?
negativity pervading a family? perfectionism?
increasing generational adrenal weakness and life overwhelm?
It's common to see hypothyroid and some degree of adrenal fatigue
today, but a low white count is not necessarily correlated to those,
and if applicable would say life suppression to me, grief and
depression from that, apathy even, boundary
issues (invasion, overwhelm, boundary violation, can't win for
losing, held back, can't get ahead). A low white count would leave
someone vulnerable to infection, errant cell activity.
If any of that applies, where is it coming from. Could be an
interesting conversation, surface some deeper material.

Remedies that come to mind - CARC., Nat Mur,
Staph, Nat Carb, Calc, Silica, Ignatia, Phos, et al.

Interesting Chris, your last para could mean that the sub acute becomes
a chronic, i.e. a case might have begun some time back with this type
of fever, long forgotten even, but now lingers trying to erupt again
but cannot due to other issues thus creating acutes such as shannon
described, as though a latent fever lodges elsewhere. Best wishes, Joy

No on its own it is just lack of reaction to remedies. Best, Joy

Thanks Carol, lots of food for thought!
She doesn't get infections (other than rare acutes); I would say the
main cause is miasmatic (huge family history), and congenitally weak
adrenals... But I'll keep the lab ideas in mind, if I get stuck in the
future. So far she's making good progress; I was just struck by this
lack of fevers! And I will look to see if this improves in the future.
Thanks again!

Hi, Tanya --
Well, really interesting question. Here's the best I could come up with. It could be very helpful in selecting a remedy if you can find any modalities for the head pain. The rubric "head pain from mechanical injury" seems like a helpful one, as well. Don't know how helpful my attempts at the "expanded head" sensation are... but it was fun trying.
MIND - PHENOMENA - DELUSIONS, imaginations - body, body parts - head - enlarged, is
HEAD - PHENOMENA - EXPANDED sensation
HEAD - PHENOMENA - ELONGATED sensation
HEAD - PHENOMENA - PAIN - injuries, after mechanical
HEAD - PHENOMENA - PAIN - extending to - outward
HEAD - PHENOMENA - PAIN - extending to - occiput
HEAD - PHENOMENA - PAIN - occiput - protuberance

Three remedies that come up strongly are Hypericum, Bell, and Glon.
Warmly, Rosemary

sorry it has taken so long to respond. your
rubrics are great. i just wasn't getting any
creative juices on this one. hypericum strikes
me as a good choice since there is a nerve problem
in the back from a fall as well as the 'aural' headache.
i am also considering a dose of arn 200c to relieve any
remaining trauma in her and then beginning with the hyper.
one of the things that i have been doing this past 7 days
is a process of rebalancing her chakras. i wanted to
give that a try to see how it worked, before starting the rx
but that may happen by the end of this week.
thanks again for the rubric help. glad that it proved a fun
exercise for you
