Dear Simon,
I ask questions when I don't know the answer and I'm interested.

Yes but why are you asking me?
I know what those who have invented the name think it is, but I think
giving it that name is bullshit, so I'm not the best person to ask.

You responded to Vicki with recommended reading, I assumed you knew something about it.
My apologies.

About Shamanism, yes, but 'Shamanistic homeopathy'?
I don't know if it was Vicki I replied to or not, but I seem to recall
that there was something in the original question that reminded me of
the writings of Carlos Casteneda
The only person I suspect who can define what they mean by Shamanistic
Homeopathy is the person who first used the term - I have no idea who
that was - unless they were joking and meant 'Sham Homeopathy' in
which case there is much discussion on the list about that already

Shamanistic homeopathy is where you give the mother tincture to the
patient and shake and pound the patient to potentize instead of the
bottle... where patient becomes the container of the holy spirit of
the medicine...
By the time you raise the potency to 10x the patient will be past
caring what happens to self or the world and be well on the way to
true and permanent healing

Thank you for your reply - I can think of one or two people I have felt like "potentizing" in the past.

Smiles and laughter are very therapeutic aren't they?
