In my practice I advise against the use of magnetic therapies while taking
homeopathics. Homeopathy is one of the energy medicines. It's foundation of
action is based on the electromagnetic spectrum. The use of another strong
electromagnetic influences such as magnetism can affect the orbital
electrons of surrounding bodies, thus I believe magnetic therapies could
have a detrimental effect on the remedies actions.

Shannon and all,
Yes, I've mentioned that the magnets confuse the picture (the phrasing I
use) and that the remedy could eliminate the need for the magnets.
But when a person is "married" to their products, they wouldn't think of
foregoing them. And they often have used the magnets (or other MLM products)
for so long that they can't envision life without them.
So their ears are deaf to be sure.
One thing though--if they have been using the magnets for a number of years,
their picture is not chaotic and changing, as it is with the "modality of
the month" people who are always coming in with the newest supplement, health
gadget, diet, etc. With these people, there is so much changing because of
all of their experimenting, that you can hardly tell what works and what
doesn't, including the action of the remedy.
Cheers!
Marybeth

Sounds like a good approach, Marybeth! I have some relatives in multilevel
marketing, who are also quite "married" to their products and yeah, I
couldn't even begin to talk them out of it, wouldn't try... But I'm
curious, have you explained that the magnets seem to work against the action
of the remedies, and that if the remedies might make the magnets unnecessary
in time? Just curious!

Yup, I realize that sometimes there's no point in trying to talk them out of
it! So basically I guess it's the same situation as e.g. someone on drugs
(prescription or otherwise) that they can't or won't get off of (yet). I'm
encouraged to hear that you *are* seeing movement, even tho slower than
would happen without the magnets!

Hi,

Are we talking about the interference of the magnets that is intrinsic to the magnets or with the sudden addition of another force to the case that confuses the case? Any sudden change can confuse the case. Herbs, vitamines, accupuncture, magnets ect if introduced after the case it takes can radically change the case.

I have been using my magnetic bed for years because it is comfortable. But I am going to quit using it soon and I will tell you if it makes any difference in the effect of my remedy. I suspect that like people who normally drink coffee or use mint toothpaste, usually the remedy is unaffected. These antidoting factors have become a part of the totality. If I sleep on a non-magnetic bed, probably at this point, I won't even notice a difference. After all, the original sx why I got the magnetic bed are gone.

Blessings,
Ellen
