She is in a state of OVERWHELM now continually except not so much in
evenings - can concentrate then and write cheques for bills, read things

Just a ride in the car totally does her in. DOesn't go much anymore. When
does panic and go to the MD, is totally wiped out from it all.
Can't stand the thought of seeing someone new as doesn't have the energy to
go through her story again or sit and wait in an office

Weird thing with the first acupuncture treatment and what sounded like
acupressure at the end with some neck and head and feet points - she was
TOTALLY fine and had come in a terrible state. She was fine the rest of
the evening, ride home in the car, to the store (but stayed in the car).
TOTALLY fine. And next day bad again and never had such a profound
improvement with further acupuncture sessions (3 or 4 more). I don't think
she stuck it out long enough though, but it is so exhausting for her.

These are just ideas, nothing definitive, just brainstorming

What seems to be emerging is a long time of suppressing emotions +
sensitivity to emotional situations + something going on she cannot name +
extreme restlessness and anxiety + an aversion to responsibility (decision
making and visitors) + apprehension about change (maybe this is linked to
the responsibility issues) + loquacity and rambling with >>> the tension +
doesn't want to eat because of stomach 'churning' (is this butterflies,
nerves, physical pathology developing??) + >> 4pm and in to the evening, >>> conversation + very chilly +
diarrhoea (what is this like - look at the morning diarrhoea rubrics,
driving out of bed rx?? etc) + cannot eat in the morning + >>> heat on
stomach + h/o migraines, h/o loving sweets, osteoarthritis + losing weight

What else would you add to this which are just possible rubrics.

Are you able to ask her what she would liked to be helped with - this might
give a clue to what is important to her and thus what needs to be cured.

Could you ask her what it is about the late afternoon/evening that makes her
feel better - try not to settle for a "I don't know" answer, try and draw it
out a bit. But certainly an important modality.

What do you think is driving this case?

From an acute or emergency situation which part of this case seems to
suggest, in as much as you have prescribed a low dose of Mag carb to try and
help - keep in mind Ignatia, possibly even a high potency (but your choice
of course), just to see if this will bring her some calm. It seems
surprisingly well indicated.

I will write about manganum at some point, possibly today as I have time but
will be busy most of tomorrow.

As I just told Dona, Its been intense
Parents here mid April to end of May (and working wiht mom the whole time)
Friends here early June
Tours started 5 days later and non stop tours (I own a tour company) since
early June and trying to work with my mom while on tour and hte other
homeopaths. Also have my own patients - not many right now as limit it as

number of remedies home with her and did send Ignatia 200.
She does have access to higher at a shop near her................I have
just been so confused as to potency with her.
You said high, possibly. What are you thinking?

We have been thru many remedies that help a little and then not
Nux v (rel to Ignatia), Ars, Rhus t, Puls, Gels
I think too that one homeopath may have suppressed things with MANY doses
of Podo due to focusing on the diarrhea which I didn't think was necessary
to focus on but he was worried about it being life threatening and I didn't
think it was. I fear things were pushed deeper with that, too.

Yes, I was making the link with Ignatia, Nat mur (h/o migraines) and on to
carcinosin. Because the emotional and the physical planes are involved and
there is an intensity to the case my instinct was to go high especially as
you already know she can tolerate remedies, i.e. no known extreme
sensitivity, so if it were me I would choose 200 or 1m. An alternative would
be LM's but would she feel ok about making them up herself or your Dad to do
this.

One other rx came to mind (and I am aware of throwing too much at you and
don't want to add to the confusion or intensity) - but have a look at Cimic
- incessant talking, need to walk about constantly, feel trapped, depressed
and fearful, <<< morning, diarrhoea in the morning, lots of epigastric
problems, lots of rheumatics, chilly. Maybe another hmmm rx

Keep asking questions if you need to.

Dear Sheri,

Someone else mentioned Stram., and I just can't get beyond seeing this
poor lady in a tizz, pacing and praying and talking to herself, like she's
had a really bad fright, like Aconite, but worse. Wouldn't A/f Fright or
shock be a rubric you might consider here ? Just a thought.
