Just to add to Andy's random picks and my own previous ones I would also add
Rumex to the list - 'sudden urging to urinate with cough' and maybe also
Sepia because of all the bearing down sensations it has which are <<< by
sudden actions such as coughing.

If you have access to Robert's "Sensations As If" you might find a more
ideal rubric or remedy. Just a thought.

By the way Andy, what MM or source did you get the Coc-C from?

Because he has become aware of that link, as soon as he coughs he goes to urinate, which calms the coughs momentarily.

Mind you, there are quite a few other relevant symptoms in this case, but this is so peculiar, it must have a value as a SRP.....so I asked.

Thanks all of you, but I am trying to find something more straightforward....might not exist yet, well I will report if the symptom disappears with one of the remedies I have in mind.

I did not look in Roberts because it is a reality, not a sensation as if, but I will give it a shot.

I searched the Knerr's rep in both cough and urination
to see a matching sx. Nothing. Do for Lilienthal.
But I would suggest you go the analogy route
coughin general ( particular) amel urination after,(in
Boger) where ign,bor,ter,lyc,are some listed and take
the most prominent ones and try to fit in your case
picture.

Can we see it as a reflex cough and if so some extractions from EH:

[ll1 - Heart, diseases of - Hydrocyanicum acidum] Reflex cough from organic
changes in heart. (If you see building up of back pressure via the kidneys
because of full bladder, then perhaps this remedy needs to be considered.)

dw5 - Ovarian affections - Apis mellifica] ... Tightness of the chest may
also be present, with the occurrence of a reflex cough and urging to
urinate.

[bwa3 - Ignatia amara] - There is a nervous reflex cough; it is constant and
the patient claims it is due to tickling in the pharynx, larynx or trachea,
but in reality is reflex from a remote organ as the ovaries, uterus, or due
to worms.

a2 - Kalium bromatum - Clinical] - Reflex cough in pregnant women.

a3 - Conium maculatum - Respiratory organs] Irritation, reflex cough of
pregnancy

hl1 - Cimicifuga racemosa] The laryngeal and bronchial irritations of
Cimicifuga are either reflex or rheumatic. It has cured the reflex cough of
pregnancy and uterine irritation.

Sepia- Reflex coughs from uterine or gastric troubles.
