He does drink lots of water but how do you tell a 22yr old male who loves meat to stop eating it!! Seriously he has tried the diet bit and found that only alcohol is a problem.

Does that "blocked nose" run while at stool?
It's a good PQRS confirmatory rubric for Thuja.

Absolutely!!!!!

First rule when a patient comes in is to remove ALL the earrings during the treatment period; often the symptoms change before the remedy arrives and is taken.
Especially in the ear, there is no point that is not representative of an organ or a function, permanent stimulation of it through the ear can cause symptoms.

Hi Rochelle-
Thuja looks good but I do not think this is a way of confirming it.
Absence of this Nose, Coryza during stool is not going to rule out
Thuja for that matter, Moreover I am not sure if this is how this
rubric should be interpreted. I am willing to be corrected of course,
When someone is NORMAL at other times but gets coryza during stool
this rubric is ok. But when someone has Nose stopped at other times
and when a discharge would relieve ( ??? does he say that) I do not
think this might be appropriate. Probably try Nose stopped,Coryza dry
rubrics.

I think there are good GENERAL modalities and so some Boenninghausen
is called for. You have a good complete picture here.

1)Since there is so much fungal and other infections esp. sexually
transmitted Thuja is good even on general principles.

2) I think even Nux vom looks attractive. warmth,
warmth, < alcoholic drinks. Please read it in Boericke.

4) Ear piercing etc, might have some effect- though I am not so sure.
In India almost ALL women have their ears pierced and most men also.
It is religious in many ways. Won't the energy meridians change paths
when there is a scar or constant irritation in an area? I could be
wrong but I remember reading it somewhere.

5) Perhaps we night need to know why he considers looks to be so
important - and should not jump into thinking about Vanity/Delusion
ugly etc.

Perhaps there is some moral in this story sonewhere- he thinkslooks
are so important and gets something that he needs to hide!!!
(Chloralum is in the rubric - Hiding).

Be careful how you ask this as it could come out like a direct question and
you could get him answering with a weak confirming 'yes' when actually it
isn't part of the case at all. This happens a lot when trying to fit the
case to a remedy instead of a remedy to a case.

How about "is there any time that your blocked nose , when you have it , runs? " Don't worry if I ask direct questions and a patient has to think about an answer, it is not important enough to note, imo . The same with likes and dislikes in food.

There is showiness, shyness, desire for glamour, lack of maturity. Looking
through Scholten¹s Homoeopathy and Minerals as I seemed to remember
something there wonder about Baryta Flour???
