Dear Vera,
I can't comment on the other alternative therapies but I can say that,
in my experience, the two disciplines I use (assemblage point locating
and adjustment and electronic gem therapy) never interfer with
homeopathy but work well with it and all other alternative methods.
My personal experience is that some of the dietary methods/supplements
for treatment which you mention can be harsh, especially for those with
liver or digestive problems - and that coffee (with cafeine) doesn't
seem very good for most people!!!! But for some people they seem to
work fairly well. I've also had bad experiences with Qi Gong and
osteopathy.

There are some people who seem able to feel the remedies working with
their hands. I remember one osteopath years ago who was able to tell
what remedy the person was on by touch. It doesn't have to be that
exact, of course, but there are some people who can feel which way
the energy is moving and work with it. It's probably more the
ability to 'listen' with their hands instead of trying to superimpose
what they think needs to be done.

After reading several of the replies, my understanding remains the same: it
depends - on the individual!
I had one patient whose remedy would be antidoted by alcohol (even just one
glass of wine). Personally, on 2 separate occasions, my own treatment had
been antidoted by aromatic oils (spent 45 mins in a shop which had a mix of
oils burning) and one session of Bowen technique. In both instances, all my
symptoms returned about 1 hour later.
When a remedy has been antidoted, wait up to 2 weeks before repeating the
remedy. In some cases, the body is able to recover and you don't need to
repeat the remedy. (In all of these cases, I've noticed that this happens on
the 12th day.)
I have one question though: for those people who are sensitive to coffee ie,
it will antidote remedies, will a coffee enema have the same effect?

My personal experience is that every time a remedy has been antidoted, it was not the proper remedy........... a close one, but not THE remedy.
Since then, although I still request the patient to take the remedy on a clean mouth to maximize the potential of absorption, I do not restrict any other treatment if it is indicated or food, EO, etc,..... if there is antidoting, I go back to work............

Hi Vera:
As long as I know, the only rule on interference is simple: Only analogous could interfere. That is why coffee antidote some people but not other: when someone first reaction is be better 'cos drink coffee then certainly will antidote.
In other hand, when the other agent first agg. and then amel., then certainly are doing a good job. This had happened sometimes even with allopathic medicines when they act homeopathically (as strange it sounds!).
How can a osteopath interfere with your treatment. Maybe he is using oils, which refresh muscles and relax people so very much, but are strong enough (analogous) to weak body's reaction. It can be that patient has very strong emotions and was very afraid or furious, which weak his reaction to medicine.
In general, any massage given by careful people is very good to anyone while there are not strong oils.

Assuming you are right, how would you explain those cases where the remedy
appears to have been antidoted but the patient recovers naturally after 12
days? (my experience with a few cases) Does this mean the remedy was the

Dear Vera
I have had experience where homoeopathic treatment has helped when used
alongside other therapies, from chemotherapy to reflexology, but I haven't
had any experience of homoeopathy antidoted or nulled by other therapies -
the only factor I have consistently found can stop homoeopathy from working
its full potential is the mental/emotional state of the patient.

And some people can "read" a remedy in the bottle - I was present in an
ad-hoc experiment where two bottles of remedies were passed round a group of
people. The bottles were unmarked and the people had to try to "guess" what
the remedy was by holding the bottle or "sniffing" the remedy.
It was interesting to see how many people got the right remedy and potency!

I have had several cases progressing beautifully until an accupuncture
treatment abruptly aborted it.
So now I advise patients to do one or the other but not both
simultaneously.
