Firstly thank you to everyone who has joined in the discussion of
this case. I have printed out all suggestions to refer to if needed.
The latest is that after going to the Doctor today Mum was told to
put the child back on Cows milk formula rather than the soy to see
yet again if the eczema gets any worse. This I approve of. He said
that the child was too young for allergy testing as his immune
system isn't built up yet (and won't be if he carries on having
vaccinations _ sorry I had to get that in!!) Mum disagrees because
of the obvius allergy to the dogs.
Last night the child was crying and had a green runny stool so Mum
sensibly gave him a dose of Cham. and according to her had the best
sleep for a while!! Because he slept and didn't scratch the eczema
was no worse this morning. He did wake at 2.30pm because he was cold
and mum wrapped him in a sleeping bag and he went straight back to
sleep again. I discussed my Lyco theory with Mum and she thought it
very interesting. She also confirmed that she had stopped breast
feeding before she took the last dose of Lyco. I am not going to
prescribe at the moment as we want to wait until the weekend to see
if he catches his sister's chicken pox or not. Mum will keep me
informed of his progress or not. Mum also told me that she bathes
him in luke warm water and he is in the bath for about 1/2 hour
which sooths his skin. She puts either oatmilk in the water or
Oilatum.
All the best
