Dear Ardavan

Most of the time, people just go through the daily grind (work, take care of
kids, grocery shopping etc) and don't worry about, or are too busy to think
about, personal growth or the purpose of their lives. Life just pulls them
along. Probably, at some point, all of us do think of these issues - usually
in our teens or at midlife (hence midlife crisis). But for the most part,
no.

So, if such a person does not follow an "organized system of belief
(religious, mystical)" or "feel the meaning of life [consciously] in a
peaceful path of individuation and personal growth", do you consider her/him
to be ontologically confused, even if s/he does not have any issues
regarding her/his existence?

outline of a case where such a confusion was an obstacle to cure.

I always consider this point in my cases. I am not talking about a peculiar case. When there is an ontological confusion, the person subconsciously is trying to give meaning to his/her life with unsuccesful compensatory reactions instead of finding the real path of his/her soul. This pseudo-paths will always lead to disappointment which acts as a stressor and an obstacle to treatment.
