That may not sound too helpful on its face, but Carbo-an. is a useful remedy
where there's a pattern of frequent acute illnesses, sprains, etc., and a
tendency to be over-affected by small losses. A lot of longing for the
past, closing the eyes to shut out the present, not wanting people around.
In addition to cancer, you're likely to see chronic low-grade depression
with lots of regrets about what might have been (is this a bar-fly remedy?),
chronic pancreatitis, cervical or uterine dysplasia, chronic fatigue
syndrome, coccydynia from injuries to the coccyx, poor circulation with
Raynaud's, and lots of chilliness with hiding under covers.

Only carb-an match all above rubric. He also had a sore eructation which does not cover carb-an. But I got good result from the remedy.
The other case. Here is what she said in first visit:
