Some perspective (was Homotoxicology)
Re: Some perspective (was Homotoxicology)
This would be a suitable combo prescription - Platina, Naja, Sepia, Thuja
and let's throw in some Syphilinum to finish off the case.

not understand is why its such a crime from Anna s side to keep asking or
defending her thinking in this group (and no im no fan of combinations)
she could only learn from Julian and im sure she did.
Julian maybe a big reason for lurkers to stay silent in groups is that
in most groups there is a small circle of regular writers who have
taken the task upon them to answer every time. and in subject like
this one one often see that all the regulars of a group form a pack
and attack a writer, close rang s, not only on list but also of list
to sender, and even a lot of complains to moderator to take actions
against an outsider. I find that very disturbing, i have
seen this happen many times before in several groups in the 6 years i
follow lists. Maybe those regulars could do what we the lurkers do,
and that is stay silent and let the 2 opponents take a subject to its
end without jumping in a defend others.
a good thing is that in this group the moderator is wise enough not to
stop a subject like in many other groups is done, where the moderator
take sides and defend the one who is most know to him or her.
Somewhere in all this Dr Rozencwajg said that a group is for
discussion, that if all members had same view there was no reason for
list, i agree with that, and i loved the way he stayed informative and
open in his explanation of this subject. Dr R i love your tagline!
If the group would give others time to accept and learn then there is no reason to
insult people to move out of a group and go to an other where combinations
can be discussed.
And yes i know this list is classical only, nevertheless i think most of us can
handle a week or two discussion on the pro and con, comparing against
one and other method.. the start of all this was one simple question.
Giving a little time to others then a person with other views would
move on on his own if he feels the group is not for him/her.
anyway, just one question for Julian (before i will lurk again) to
know your personal view point on single remedy and cancer..
do you feel that the sit and wait approach can be taken in cancer?
given the pathology of the disease do you feel those patients have time
to wait?

Hi Marleen,
Just a quick response to your very good points:
I do not think that *questions* have been the problem here; I think the
problem has arisen from what I would call a contentious and arrogant manner
of asking, and a haughty, condescending way of asking without answering.
Anna definitely doesn't get all the "blame" in these conversations! But I
for one am willing to hand her a good chunk of it. (Could it be an
occupational hazard of "independent income" mentality? She's seemed to feel
and imply from the beginning that we're all a bit beneath her, which puts no
one in a friendly frame of mind.)

made it quite clear why those things are not homeopathy. The

I had a student once who asked, "how come a triangle has three sides?
Why can't it have four?" I explained that within the definition, a
triangle has three, and a four sided figure is a quadrangle and
depending upon further definitions it can be a square, rectangle,
parallelogram, or trapezoid. He then persisted, "but why must a
triangle have three sides?"
That is the kind of dialogue happening here. Some people just can't see it.
If others jumped in, it would be great. I do not know how many folks
subscribe to minutus, but I've seen only ten or so names ever post.
This is a very rough one, and I'm afraid there is no answer. I know
that, historically, many people (Burnett, Cooper, Grimmer) have
discussed their treatment of cancer. Grimmer found that the single
remedy in quite high potency was often effective.
Some patients have time to wait, some do not. Some just do not
respond to homeopathy for a myriad of reasons, both known and unknown.
I wish we had people today who had Grimmer's understanding of the
subject, but, alas... we have his writing which only shows that HE
could do it.
I have, personally, seen Dr. Ramikrisnan, and used his protocol for
six months to find no change in my status. I switched to Chinese
herbals, and found more success. The best result I have experienced
was with Zhineng Qigong-- which is a long cry from homeopathy.
With cancer and homeopathy, it is up to the patient and to the skill
of the prescriber. Quite honestly, it is probably a crapshoot. No
guarantees from either direction.
