I'm really more of a homeopathy student than a homeopath, but am a
highly experienced midwife who has used only Naturopaths, TCM Dr's, or
Homeopaths (depending upon availability) for my own and family's health
care for over twenty-five years.
This thread has been fun and interesting, and put me in mind of an
exchange with an old high-school chum who looked me up last year. We
went to school together what seems like a long time ago now.... forty
years or so. While I jumped on the alternative train when it came along,
he went the very conservative. traditional route of college, med school,
and a highly lucrative anesthesiology practice. He's now a retired
multi-millionaire, while I slog away for the state as a social worker to
pay the monthly bills. It's quite amazing that he and I can converse
whatsoever, since we are so opposite on most every point of possible
conversation: politics, health care, religion.... I think we have a
mutual tolerance only because we were kids together.
Anyway, last year our school had its 40th reunion, and we were asked to
answer simple questions to give a "profile." At the time, I judged the
multiple-choice questions as rather simplistic, thinking it would be
difficult to tell anything much about anyone from the answers. After
reading the responses here, I think I may have been quite wrong about
that!
One of the categories was Type of Car, and the choices given were:
Luxury, SUV, Truck, Family, Compact.... (I think there may have been
others, but forget just now).
My friend accosted me in a rather upset way after he read my profile,
because I had checked off "Luxury." You see, he's a lover of fine cars,
can afford and thus owns a Mercedes (one of the big ones), a very nice
older Beamer, a fully restored '63 Chevy Impala, and a Dodge Durango!
And he still talks about other cars he wants to own.
Mine is "only" a 14 year-old Volvo, but hey! It's a 740 Turbo with
leather seats! Dark blue with black interior (not one of those ugly
Volvo colors). It's my first-ever automatic, and it has heated seats,
a/c, sunroof, CD player, and cool wheels. I love it. I stopped looking
at other cars in a wishful way after I got it.
I've tried to explain to my friend that it's a Luxury to me, but he just
shakes his head. He really thinks I misrepresented my station in life.
Too funny. Sometimes I find allopaths really easy to tease. He prides
himself on being very "scientific" (and of course, I'm not in his
estimation), but I told him he has no understanding of relativity.

One of the reasons Phos do burn out, as you call it, is because of all that
'reaching out' they do, all that 'bringing of people together', all that
'neediness'.
I note you are a clairvoyant also....enough said
