Yes, yes, I have anticipated these comments and, of course, I am prepared as
usual. (Sun square Saturn; Saturn first house conjunct ascendant) As one who
always goes to the heart of any matter (Leo rising conjunct ascendant,
conjunct Pluto, Mercury retrograde in Scorpio in the third house) and leaves
no stone unturned in his incisive (Scorpio sun square Pluto in the 12th
house) and decisive (all of the above and then some), never ending search
for the complete Truth (repeat previous comments plus a stellium in
Sagittarius) but prefers to keep it to myself most of the time (loaded 4th
house, strong Scorpio influence) even though it thrills me to no end to
harass and harangue infidels (loaded first house, strong Sagittarian
influence) so as to transform them from their place of ignorance (Pluto
square Sun in Scorpio) to a place of light (3 planets and ascendant in Leo =
the sun) as I am, underneath it all, compelled to serve the ignorant masses
(ruler of 6th house = service, in Leo and squaring my sun and conjoining
Pluto and Mars in Leo) as I am the friend of all (retrograde Uranus in the
11th house of friends) even though they are unlikely to know it (Saturn
square the sun in Scorpio, Mercury retrograde in Scorpio in its natural 3rd
house of communication = you'll never know who or what I am unless I tell
you - I'm telling you now so I can hit you again later = Mars square sun).
Are you lost yet? Be brave, I'm almost there. Uranus is retrograde in my
11th house which is ruled by Mercury through Gemini, the natural ruler of
the 3rd house. Mercury is retrograde in my 3rd house in Scorpio. Scorpio is
ruled by Mars and Pluto both of which are conjunct my ascendant and square
my sun in Scorpio. None of these things make me stupid. In addition to what
has been noted, aside from being able to intellectually understand things, I
am able to intuit via Neptune (intuition, spiritual inspiration - a
redundancy - You did catch that, didn't you? That was a retrograde Mercury
game.) in the 3rd house of mind. I know that most of you have no or very
little idea of what I am talking about here so, perhaps, I should just say
it directly. I do not think that astrology is a tool that should be put into
the hands of the masses as it is something, that like homeopathy, has the
ability to cause more harm than good to the untrained user and his victims.
It is likely (aside from overcoming the laziness preventing one from
mastering such a complex SCIENCE) that is why most people have no idea what
astrology (like homeopathy) is all about and why people are given to making
ignorant comments about both. If you have a retrograde Mercury in the 3rd
house, you most likely know that ignorant means "uninformed" while in the
common parlance it has taken on the vulgar meaning of "stupid". If we are to
have any chance of communicating at all with each other, we have to be
precise in our terms. That is, we have to know what we are talking about and
to try and understand what the other person is saying. To say that something
is nonsense when we have never studied it is really the height of ignorance.
This is where the allopaths live. They are the most ignorant of all. One
does not have to have a medical degree to be an allopath. One just has to
think, speak and act like an allopath to be so classified. It is not
difficult for me to see that many so called homeopaths (i.e., people who
should know better) can easily be classed among the allopaths. This brings
me to a final (though I can't promise that) point. Thinking wholistically,
it doesn't matter to me and it really should not matter to anyone whether
Isaac Newton ever said what he was reported by some to have said or not
said. I was not there and I could never prove it either way and I really
could not care less. Saying that he said it is just as valid as saying that
he didn't say it and people who would focus on one position or the other are
missing the point. Let me change the name of the putative contestant
(another retrograde Mercury in Scorpio game - Isn't this fun?) to Allen
Coniglio (which in my mind is just as valid as Isaac Newton or ANY other
name) who would reply to an assault on the SCIENCE of astrology (or the
science of homeopathy or the great WISDOM and TRUTH of the Bible) by one
with no understanding of it with something akin to the following:

"Dude, I have studied it. Have you?"

I am no respecter of persons or of self important twits who want to rewrite
history to suit themselves and/or their pathetically narrow, unfocused and
ignorant view of Creation. This is in no way a reference to or an attack on
you, Gini, or on anyone who has an honest heart and an open mind. However, I
would say that if the shoe fits, one might consider wearing it, wherever one
might be reading this from. Again, Gini, I am sincerely not aiming at you in
any way.

I might comment, however, Gini, that the article and the website you
referenced derive from the journal of the Dutch Skeptics. Pardon me if I am
wrong but, are these not part of the international cabal of self described
"skeptics" populated by such as the nonillustrious Paul Kurtz, James Randi
and other professional know nothings and debunkers who have devoted great
amounts of time, energy and money to "debunking" homeopathy and propounding
the blessings of the allopathic way? Not to mention that, in this same
article, much is made of the fact that many long dead Dutchmen, the great
thinkers of their day, went out of their way to prove the relevance of their
own irrelevance by debunking astrology and all other of the great
pseudosciences as they knew them while insisting that their progenitors made
an honest mistake in asserting that the Earth was flat and that it was also
the center of the universe? Really, what did these guys know? These were
self inflated twits of the same order as the book burners, debunkers and
persecutors of our own day. Is it not true that this class has always been
and remains peopled by pointy headed university hooligans who, in actuality
and with a great deal of help, could not manage to think their way out of a
wet remedy bottle? I can only wonder then, Gini, why you would call upon
such pedantic trash to support your, as demonstrated, needless questioning
of my reference to the poor, departed Dr. Newton? Perhaps, you have been too
long on one of their vile campuses and have fallen under their spell? Might
I suggest that this group of charlatans has bamboozled some of you out there
in the land of Oz into believing that they actually know something? Think
"allopath". Please pay attention, my friends. I won't be with you forever.

Focusing strictly on the astrological content of this e-mail, numerous
remedies are called to mind by one who has the training to look for and see
them. Without having studied astrology, however, it would be hopeless to
even make the attempt to use that magnificent SCIENCE to search for a
correct remedy (Notice, I said "a correct remedy", not "the correct
remedy".) for a person or animal. (Animals too?) Yup. Just do their chart in
the normal way.

Is that quite enough, my fellow demon slayers? Although I will continue to
answer questions (yawn), I am growing weary and must soon return to my cave
so that I may better direct the Universe. After all, it is the change of
seasons here on Earth and much remains to be done before the equinox. Adios.
(yet another retrograde game - I do love this.)

Allen,

I have the greatest admiration for your knowledge in the science of
astrology, I also understand your frustration and share your view that if
people do not know , or have not studied a subject they should at least keep
an open mind.
I also agree with you that the bible has great wisdom but when it comes to
Truth in the bible, I have to knowledgably ( if such a word exist) object,
there is a lot of historical truth in the bible , however when it comes to
God truth we are on a whole different ball game, so I respectfully object to
that part, and to use your last sentence, Dude I have studied it, however
always open to discussions about it, maybe on a personal email as this
might not interest everyone and is not homeopathy as most people would see
it.

Greetings
Rita

Hi,
Astrology , in order to be talked of at par with homeopathy needs to meet
some qualifications.

1. Homeopathy is a science of experiment. It has its undisputable materia
medica. Astrology is a "system" based on experience. Andy wrote about
Indian vedic astrology. I am an Indian and here traditionally astrology is
interwoven in every practice. The eighth day after the new and full
moon,'ashtami' is cinsidered inauspicious just because Lord Krishna was born
on that day !(it was suffering for him and his parents on that nigth).
Similarly Krishna's birth star is Rohini and all maternal uncles of children
born in Rohini are put to mental agony since Krishna killed his maternal
uncle Kamsa. Lord Rama's suffering has resulted in people shunning the ninth
day after full and new moon on which he was born !. If you want to test this
just ask an Indian
astrologer (modern or traditional ) an auspicious date , he will definitely
avoid these days!
2. Indian astrology has the lunar system of calculation of horoscope with
better accuracy than solar signs. Even here the pitfalls are many. A lagna
(about 130 minutes, I believe) decides a horoscope, but twins born within
half an hour will have the same horoscope and will live at different life
levels in all respects. Nothing to say about children born elsewhere but
within those two hours of the same lagna. So much for the accuracy. Where
this will help the accurate individualisation is an open question.
3. I have not seen any ayurved physician talk medicine and astrology in the
same breath. Ayurveda also has its three grand constitutions, the
phlegmatic,bilious
and rheumatic. But a horoscope never decided the constitution.
4.> > Isaac Newton is reported to have replied to a disparaging comment
regarding
Newtons creative works were over in the first part of his life. All the rest
of his life he did many forgettable things and this may also be one.

Rita - I will not go on any more about this except to respond to a few
e-mails. I have studied, among many other things, astrology, homeopathy and
the Bible in quite some depth. All have validity. I will not qualify this
statement by saying, "in my opinion", because it has gone well past the
stage of "maybe" for all of them. If anyone should study these subjects with
an open mind and look at the materials and sources that I have used, I find
it impossible to believe that person could remain unconvinced of their value
and validity. People on this list and elsewhere have made the mistake,
attributable perhaps, to the prejudices that they carry, of assuming that I
am some kind of religious nut who goes around praying and reading the Bible
all the time. (I'm sure it easier for them to see things that way.) Just for
general information, I have not seen the inside of a church in years and
though I try to adhere to Christian principles and philosophy, I see great
value in the teachings of most religions. I make statements on this list and
elsewhere that are designed to stir up the masses, to harangue and harass
the too complacent, politically correct and biased (usually from the
political left) nonthinking bigots that seem to be everywhere in this day
and age. I have been known to make the occasional bold statement and I will
make another: I believe that homeopathy is the medicine of the Creator of
this Universe which connects man to his Source and I believe that many
Master Healers, including Jesus of Nazareth used homeopathic principles to
do the "miracles" of healing attributed to them. They knew how to conjure up
"good spirits" to neutralize and defeat the "evil spirits" that have
inhabited mankind since his fall from the true and correct way. Are those
spirits actual entities? Yes, they are but, I cannot discuss their origins
and natures at this time (as I would need days to do so) except to say that
most are fed and empowered by man. An unbiased observer would see that this
is exactly consistent with homeopathic theory dating from the time of
Hahnemann to the present and that this is what we all do every time we use
homeopathy. To understand what I am saying, one must actually exercize and
stretch the mind but that, of course, requires effort and not everyone is
willing to make that effort. I am a wholistic thinker and I see that
everyone and everything originates from the same Source and, thus, it is
fruitless and unwise to attempt to abandon large parts of our life and
heritage such as the spiritual, physical, emotional and mental guidance that
we get from the Bible and other holy (wholistic) books. Many are addicted to
or desperately searching for the praise of their fellow humans and so they
feel they have no choice but to join the "free thinkers" of this silly world
in condemning the Bible as superstitious drivel, unfit to be posted on a
list as enlightened as ours. (How is this any different from what the
university "skeptics" do?) I have encountered this bias and ignorance
ererywhere I have ever been and I must say that I am fully aware that such
people are slaves and not "free" thinkers as others are doing their thinking
for them and telling them what to believe and profess and what should be
ridiculed from the safety of the limitations of the herd. Stated simply, the
Bible works, as does astrology, as does homeopathy and all can and should be
used together. Throw in traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Bach Flower
Remedies, reflexology, diet and lifestyle changes and whatever else you can
come up with and you are approaching a complete system. If you have ever
disparaged and/or attempted to devalue these or any other systems without
having first studied and investigated them, I can only say with great sorrow
for you, "Shame on you. You don't know what you're missing.".

Hi John - Yeah, you've got the itch as well but, I'm sure you know the old
story:

"I would rather be Socrates unsatisfied than a pig satisfied."

Me too.

Based on the information you have given me and with a lot of work, I could
probably figure out fairly accurately the time of your birth but, I would
guess you would have a Sagittarius sun or other Sagittarian influence. Your
south node would be Leo or Cancer but I would guess Leo, just based on your
suggestion of the website for me to visit. You are right. Astrology works
and is connected with homeopathy but, what isn't? If anyone wishes, there
are numerous places on the internet to set up a free astrology chart if you
have the correct birthdate, time and place. One that I know of is the
following:
