Hi Jennifer,

I'd have assumed the DMSO might interfere with the remedy, as is apparently
a risk with highly aromatic substances (camphor, menthol, mint...). But I
guess the "proof of the pudding" here would be that you have evidently used
the combination and found it effective -- can't argue with that!

I wouldn't think that DMSO would be needed, tho, as the remedy absorbs thru
the skin anyway. Have you tried it in a simple base like lanolin, or even
just dripping remedy water onto the skin? I'd be interested whether these
worked any less well; I'd expect any of those to work fine (tho I've never
tried).

the major info source of the use of castor oil packs comes from the
american psychic Edgar Cayce. The book that expounds on it is La Palma
Christi, by Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. foundation.

Simply: you need some flannel, cold-pressed castor oil, a plastic sheet,
heating pad.

1. soak the flannel (should be a bit larger than the area to be treated) in
castor oil. wring it out so it's not drippy.

2. place the flannel over the treatment area. cover it with a plastic sheet
(to protect clothing, etc, from the oil)

3. put the heating pad over that. keep warm (hotter the better, i think)
for 20 minutes.

Depending on what's being treated, you can do this from 2-3 times a day to
2-3 times a week.

I've prescribed this with good effect. I would think it goes excellently
with Thios.

An efficient carrier of homoeopathic tinctures is Aqueous cream to my
knowledge 100% pure natural. No need to heat just add the tincture
and spread. It can be washed off and makes a wonderful "cream soap"

Dear Didi,

I have pelvic adhesions & want to avoid having a laparoscopy done at
any cost! We can get normal castor oil but not the cold pressed oil
that you had suggested. Is that ok to use?
