This is quite sobering!
I assume there *were* underlying conditions here, which in retrospect might
have given any warning -- have you any inforation on that? (Diabetic or
other circulatory problems, for ??) Or was the peel wrapped on too tightly,
or ???

was it from the banana peel, or was there a gangrenous condition already developing that they did not
diagnose? it seems a bit bizarre that the banana peel would cause gangrene

I feel sure that if he were to develop anything akin to gangrene he would be straight on the phone!!
Thanks for the warning anyway.

Yes Rochelle! - My daughter had veruccas on her foot for some years. She
also had cracking of the skin on the soles and heels - bathing in dried
Rosemary leaves in a bowl of hot/warm water used to close the cracks, but
they always opened again. In my early learning days I had to tackle this one
by flicking through almost every page for eruptions in Boericke - I was
really skilled. I eventually found Anacardium Occidentale in the 'compare'
section of Anacardium Orientale. It reads; warts, corns, ulcers, cracking of
the skin on soles of feet. While on holiday approx a week later I happen to
notice everything had gone - Nothing has ever returned - that happened about
20 years ago. My feeling is that cashew nut may have also been the
aetiology. I hope this is of help to you - John

Hi John,
I reckon that Anacardium must have been her constitutional remedy. Did she have any other symtoms of the remedy? What potency did you give her?

Just the 2 rubrics Rochelle, the remedy I gave in 30c. I only looked for
physicals - I was very inexperienced at the time - I would not have known
what to look for - I was motivated into treating people by my extreme
enthusiasm.
It is important to understand that I seemed, at the time, to know my
limitations. At this particular time homoeopathy was particularly barren in
my city and I intended to do something about it and although I may not have
done things 'properly' it didn't matter to me, the 'innocent victims' of
what I felt was a cruel regime were going to find out all about HOMOEOPATHY
before I left this planet and my only way was to treat them - and that has
been my stance to this day. I cured many many people during those years
(always giving my remedies away) so I reckon it was all worthwhile - Don't
you? I am now learning how to do this thing 'properly' - at 58 years of age
---------- 58 going on 20.
Interestingly, due to my inexperience, I called Ainsworths for help in
selecting the potency for the Anac Occ. and they suggested that I give
Teucrium instead. So I asked them to send me some - and the Anac., just in
case the Teucrium did not work. The Teucrium remains in my cabinet -
unopened - to this day.

Best regards - John
