because he's, umm, ah...a northeasterner Englishman..and he thinks he is
invulnerable because his ancestors didn't get the plague?

Lordy, I'm married to one of those too. Close enough, anyway. Mine is
now half-deaf because he found ear protectors too much of a nuisance
during last year's heavy construction job. And he STILL doesn't use
face masks either!!!!
