Willy-
Opium as suggested by someone seems a good selection. These other
ones also come out as good. These are from Knerr and so more
trustworthy than someone's dream proving or delusions.
Far off feeling in head - Secale ( from Roberts)
Staring with vacant look - Carb.sul
Staring at one questioning her or at one spot, or at her
surroundings in a strange stupid manner - Hell
Staring thoughtless - Hell
Talking inability - Crot.h, Kali.br, Stram
Trance - Lach
Trance everything seems unreal to her - Amyl
Unconscious with inability to swallow - Amyl
Apoplexy old persons - Apis, Bar.c, Opium
Uncertainty - feeling of - Amyl
Palate, anesthesia - Kali.br
Of the nosodes - Med seems to be the best bet, I was seeing it in so
many rubrics.
I esp. like Secale, Kalibr, Amyl. Secale for its well known action
on blood vessels. It is also good for old women ( Read about it in
Boericke in introduction). I have treated many similar cases with
Kali.br. Excellent remedy for speech difficulties in TIA and CVAs.
Amyl as it is as transient in its symptomatology as TIA. Carb.s I
have never tried for these but looks very good esp. sensation (loss
of it ) part of it. So does Hell. Crotalus and Lach are naturals for
these conditions.
Even though tests ruled out TIA, since TIA is one of the
Differential Diagnosis, medicines indicated for TIA would work. That
is how the therapeutic indications are arrived at- by comparing what
the proving symptoms simulate - this is a much better way of
arriving the remedy than gazing up the delusion tree...( I wanted to
say barking)...
A trial of Secale might not be too bad ( if other symptoms agree-
there I fulfilled the customary and mandated words)
Good luck
