So are you saying the material from the snail shell will NOT dissolve into the tincture or remedy?
Are you also saying if using spageristic tinctures the mineral content will not be dissolved and incorporated into the remedy?
I am also reminded of making bone broth where the bones are cooked till they almost fall apart from leaching out the minerals.
How would this concept relate to remedy making with solid material like shells.

Dear Tanya
All solid materials – including metals etc are triturated by grinding for 1 hour in a glazed porcelain mortar (The bottom which should have been roughened by grinding sand in it) with a pestle at a ratio of 1 part of substance and 99 parts lactose.
This produces 1C.
Then 1 part of 1C and 99 parts lactose are ground for another hour. This produces 2C.
Then 1 part of 2C and 99 parts lactose are ground for another hour. This produces 3C.
1 part of 3C is add to 99 part of water and succussed. This give 4C.
1 drop of 4C is added to 99 part of water and succussed. This give 5C.
Continue until the potency needed is reached.
Mark and label each potency for future use.
