There is a difference between Lenin (USSR and Chinese "socialism") and Trotsky (Geman and now American "socialism") just because they both use the name "socialism" does not make them equal. It makes the arguments against socialism hollow to through everything but the kitchen sink in one pile.

Language is funny--it is not a fixed thing. It changes all the time. And looking at history, we have oodles of examples

of how word meanings are bastardized for political gain. Look at what happened to the word "liberal" when Dukakis ran.

It took how many years?? for Sanders to make that word legitimate--now that he uses the word socialist. It strikes me

that when hearing/using hot button words that we take a moment to explore the neutral core meaning of them and then

look at how they are used for manipulation people. Socialism has been such a hot button word in the US for over a century.

The argument is not about socialism. It is about vaccines and the authoritative regimes that try to force us to take them. These regimes exist and wherever they are found there is also to be found an anti-constitutional bias in favor of socialist tyranny, no matter how you might choose to see it. These evil deeds are not being done by conservatives or libertarians. They are being done by what we generally refer to as the "left", i.e. socialists. These tyrants are the enemy and that is what the Great Conflict in the world is all about today. Again, I refer you to New Zealand for how quickly it can all come together and how quickly the people can lose everything. No, it is not Donald Trump who is doing all these things. It is deep state socialists/communists who are doing these things under control of their globalist masters.
Let us no longer split hairs and gather a storm over ridiculous definitions. I know what I am talking about and anyone who is awake or willing to wake up will also know what I am talking about. The danger is real. Act on it or suffer the consequences.

Suffice it to say you The Drug cartels are clearly not liberal, or progressive. Altho, I will grant you there are some libertarians who are very adamant about vaccine choice. The issue is to stop carrying on about socialism and communists (you begin to sound line McCarthy and his HUAC committee. The issue is to find people to work with in coalition on the issue of vaccine safety, or lack of it and the mandates which assume all bodies are exactly the same.

Of course, you have a point but there are some places where your point does not hold together.
First, the socialist/communist concept belongs to the new world order globalists although they will only admit it when it is convenient. The globalists are the enemy of mankind and they are working very hard to find new and ingenious ways to destroy and eliminate mankind from the planet. They do not consider themselves to be part of mankind and there is a great deal of evidence which suggests they are not. Remember, they only breed with their own - royal to royal, and certain other groups to certain others which I will not mention here.
You are correct to say that the drug cartels - Big Pharma - are not of any particular persuasion except their own, off world hatred of humanity. Drugs are designed to destroy us and to give the globalists more space to stretch their criminally bred legs. Now, when I speak of communists and socialists that seems to offend but when I am called racist and other such things that does not seem to matter much. Seems a bit unjust to me but after all, I am not an enlightened socialist. The fact is, socialism and communism have been created by the nwo cabal and are designed to deceive the masses with promises of justice for all if only we give up our individuality and rights to do things our own way. In other words, we must be prepared to be part of the Borg and let the collective decide for us. I know most of you do not understand what I am talking about but we are being played like children and promised the Universe if only we get in line. Please, it is time to wake up.

McCarthy was no fool and he saw clearly what was going on. The world crucified him but they have crucified many toher truth tellers before him and they are still doing it.

When I was in the tea party movement, I tried to talk to some of the people in the "Occupy" movement to get them to work with us. Few were willing to give me the time of day. They all said we were a bunch of racists and they assumed that all conservative/libertarians "are exactly the same" just as you said.

I guess you are not aware of these things. The battle still goes on. I try to get through to tell the truth but not that many can see what I am doing or hear what I am saying. In the meantime, the bad guys get badder and the evil gets worse. How long before they take us down completely?

Wow, what a major debate of the century. I think Allen Coniglio has explained it to us in the most dire and truthful way. I can't find any fault to his reasoning.
A friend of mine here says he is a decendant of European royalty. They have not gone away - they are still acting strongly in the politics of Europe. Ya, it figures. Why would they go away?

When I was in Lithuania, talked with some smart guys there in the extended family -

Some say that the politicians in Brussels are mostly former communists and the all got wealthy now - guess it's easy for politicians to be on the take, just like many of our pols.

Now here in America, the founding fathers gave us a republic, if we can keep it.
We are the envy of the world - they all want to come here.
With all of our warts, we have the greatest engine of freedom, that's what builds the greatest economic engine, ya - corporations and all. Corporations aren't bad, thay'r just people working together toward a common goal, Freedom allows that. The people leverage their strengths and make more money and that's not bad either, freedom allows that. Of course, some have evil goals, like Monsanto the evil corp.
We're not perfect - some need to get reined in - guess the lawsuits do that.

So with all our successes, why would we want to change our form of government to something that enslaves the people. We let it go and there's no getting it back. They are trying to hoodwink the American people into going for something different, but it's a slippery slope and the American people see that and they're not buying it
