The owner used to work for yahoo groups years ago, he is around and open to suggestions on how to improve things, sort out any issues/problems etc.

I didn’t see it (but I’m missing a lot, these days) — but in any case, this looks to me (?) like it’s saying that past posts won’t be saved—and it would be GREAT if we can save the archives! Could we move them to a freestanding group (however that would work)?

I signed on to MeWe, too but have not yet used it. Supposed to be more secure than many of the other social media.

One of my groups has signed onto MeWe. I am not sure it has the flexibility to which we are accustomed and
not sure about its ability to save info.
Is it possible Yahoo is part of the censoring efforts being imposed?

Hi Shannon,
groups.yahoo.com
The above is what I enter into the address space. Maybe there's some kind of automatic memory that knows the way??? Did you try clicking on the blue Learn More on email # 108056?
Hummmmm, maybe it has something to do with I'm already signed into the group???

I went to the address Shannon posted below and received the same message. Here
https://help.yahoo.com/kb/groups/SLN310 ... sions=true
is an address that explains only in part: What will happen on October 28?
On October 28, you will no longer be able to upload any content to the site. To share info with members of your groups, you'll continue to be able to do so via email.

One limit to MeWe is that it does not send emails when posts are done.
