I have written before about the contradictions in Liberals regarding health issues. There seems

to be major disconnect between liberal/progressive politics when it comes to war or public education

and a downright reactionary position on health issues. Literally just took a hit from someone online

who sees himself as a great 'thinker' and academic, a humanist and liberal. He is supporting a man who worked as a
consultant for the FDA for 20 yrs. Goddess knows what kind of consulting he did but, needless to say,

he is in big disagreement to me. The academic man simply trusts the FDA and anyone who worked for them

as if that means he is free from bias. There is another man in this group who writes me privately about

his interest in my comments critical of the medical industry. He lost his wife to ALS 2 yrs ago and posted

me that she always talked about nutrition and supplements which he attributes the disease moving so

slowly in her. He says what I write reminds him of his wife. Nice! Too bad he is not willing to post within

this whole group but I find that typical of people who are willing to think outside the box but not have the courage to speak out.

I find this man interesting as he was a career military man, typically conservative and reactionary on many issues, but
he seems to respond to many things I say much more openly than the so-called liberals in this group.
I find that no matter what people think of themselves, they are rarely of a single mind on all issues. This makes it
possible to create allies across many borders on given issues and that to me is very valuable. So I am happy to work

with people who tend to be reactionary if we can find alliance of holistic health. It is possible to restrict coalitions to

specific issues and doing that is what would create success. Many fundamentalists, for example, are very supportive

of non-medial industry health protocols.

After what happened to Irene, we should all be concerned with government going after practitioners. Her adversaries were veterinarian, and I have heard that they are worse than human practitioners. Still, the threat is very real.
