I think this ' my homeopath uses ....... And custom blended remedies '. Are what the FDA is looking at now.
We had to define what homeopathy is. I believe the CHC just did that in the USA.

Some people think a herb is homeopathic and ( of course) everyone knows if you don't need it it cannot hurt you. We cannot have it both ways. One of my clients brought in a tube of a homeopathic OTC remedy for something like throat issues - the bottle clearly said homeopathic but no ingredients were listed on the bottle at all.
First a definition of what homeopathy is and then a statementvof what kind of education is required to achieve proficiency. That is going to be the only way we can protect our discipline from people who throw around little white pills indiscriminately.

Is it perfect? No, but it is better than sweeping this whole mess under the rug calling everything homeopathic and giving all of us a bad name.

WHY do you think tht is the "only way"?
How will that get us out from under AVMA and AMA jurisdiction?
(which is the real problem)
Those things will ALWAYS be debated.
In USA:
What is necessary is to remove homeopathy from the jurisdiction of AMA and AVMA who do not know how to spell it much less teach it in their schools. They rule it in order to prevent competitio. THAT is constitutionally illegal.
It needs to be challenged - all the way to the supreme court. It WILL be upheld as it is indeed constitutioanl law that AMA and AVMA are breaking.
There is also legal precedent for this in USA, from both chiropractors and from tooth whiteners in USA.... BOTH went to court to have AMA STOP RULING THEIR PROFESSION TO PREVENT COMPETITION from them. BOTH won in supreme court, (it has to go to all the way to the supreme court becausse AMA is wealthy and fights it tooth and nail) based on the constitutional law being broken - the very law broken in MY case recently, tht I did not have funds to defend past Superior Court.
....but nobody with funds is interested in doing the job for homeopathy. That is ALL we need. Defining homeopathy etc is a INTERNAL issuye among homeopaths. NOTHING to fo with the problem of AMA jurisdiction which we SHOULD be fighting.
I would do it myslef if I had the funds.
(CHC has been misdirecting what THEY call homeopathy, for way too long.)

The direction needed is to remove it from AMA and AVMA jurisdiction. It is ONLY there to prevent competition with doctors and vets - a blatantly illegal reason - by constitutional law - and now with not one but two precedent-setting cases. It's a slam dunk if we can take it to supreme court.

Namaste,
Irene
