Well, I read over their mission statement and it was vague enough to be able to fit a pharmaceutical agenda trying to remain hidden. But that does not mean that it is a hidden pharmaceutical front group. I'm just saying that it could be. I would prefer something with a little more moxie. Like I said, I am sick and tired of the lies, intimidation, and possibly worse.

Didn't the Canary Party turn out to be a waste of time - a pseudo-activism group that sides with pharmaceutical interests?

I may have my groups mixed up so I'm asking a question rather than making a statement.

Well Roger,
I agree and am looking for a group to take up some legal cudgels.
My plan is to file suit against the AVMA for trying to create a monopoly to exclude competition from veterinary homeopathy.
This is illegal at Federal and State level, but has no case precendent till now - and a new case has just provided precedent:
The tooth whitening poeple just won their case against the American dental assciation which was trying to make tooth whitening illegal by anyone except a dentist.
The court has ruled that dentists have no reason to control tooth whitening and are trying to do so just to exclude competition, which is illegal, thus they may not control tooth whitening.
MY case has just failed dismally. (WA supreme court ruled that I may not take it further - a shock and surprise to us)
BUT - the recourse is clearly to file suit that the American veterinary association has no valid jurisdiction over the practice of veterinary homeopathy as they try to prevent its use for reasons of competition only and they are NOT in a position to control it when not even a single veterinary school even teaches it. ir They have LESS reson to control veterinary homeopathy than the dental association has to control tooth whitening.
The only excuse for them trying to put veterinary homeopathy under a veterinary medicine umbrella is as for the tooth whiteners - to claim a monopoily to prevent competition - which is an invalid reason by law, now upheld.
We have known this was the case all along - but now we have a court following the rules correctly and upholding that rule.
(It was a stated item in MY case - with the law quoted - but was ignored as often happens when there is no case law - and it would have been brought up in Appeal court had I been allowed to go ahead - with the case law. That has been thwarted.)
SO yes - we need to take homepathy out of the american veterinary arena
THAT can set precedent to do so for human homeopathy.
The latter is legally trickier as they currently list human homeopathy under Human Naturopathy - which is separately licensed in many states (including this one).
So it would be smart to first get veterinary homeopathy separated from veterinary medicine - based on the new precendent setting ruling re tooth whitening (plus the fact they are not qualified to manage veterinary homeopathy not even being uneducated in it) ......THEN get human homeopathy separated from human naturopathy after that, based on the results of veterinary homeopathy separation from veterinary medicine control.
That has a realistic chance of getting somewhere (unlike my just lost case)
We should strike while the iron is hot. I shall use my case and what happened with it, as part of the justification and evidence for filing this new one also. (The entire case plus ridiculously off base judges' decisions show just how incompetent veterinary medicine is on matters of veterinary homepathy management, and how unjust the results are and how effective they are at quashing conpetition - plus that the competition quashing is indeed the motive being used.)
This is what I am working on. What I need is for people to JOIN me with this new case and not sit on their hands, One voice in the wilderness is not enough.
I shall prepare something to file and then will be asking for notarized affidavits in support when the time comes.

Namaste,
Irene
