I did some seminars with a professional homeopath from one of the more well known areas in the Colorado mountains. She told me that 85% of her patients were Cannibis Indica.
She also told me there was another professional homeopath in the area and when they compared notes they were amazed to find the same situation.

Amanda Zaren had some interesting thing to say about that remedy. Maybe Colorado attracts that constitutional predisposition.

tho I do recall a lot of that rocky mtn “laid back” Kate-Wolfish culture from my days in Estes Park & Rollinsville.

I heard our county sheriff speak to this issue the other day: WA is taking a bath on the projected revenues. No one is playing the legal game, and the growers are selling their product out their back doors rather than through their "licensed" businesses. Since it is more or less legal to have and to grow one's own, and since medical permits are easy to obtain, the authorities are just not bothering to enforce the new laws. The state is making less than 10% of their projected figures.

He also says that the perception of the law enforcement departments is that those who used it illegally before are still using, only quasi-legally, and that it does not seem that new users are increasing at the great rates feared by some, if at all.

From my point of view, Washington state just doesn't have any of that "giggle" factor that the news pins on Colorado. Nothing changed, except for some Oregon residents crossing over to buy.

I was told by someone in the burgeoning pot growing industry in Oregon that Washington set it's prices too high, that is why the backyard industry in Wasghinton state was not hurt by legalization. Obviously, that will not make money for the state.

I think it is a hard stretch to compare the legalization of pot to the FDA/pharmaceutical industry's interest in "regulating" homeopathy.

I don't know Will, this was quite a few years ago, before it was legal. I never thought to ask that question at the time.

Those mountains are breath taking. I remember being a bit giddy looking down the mountain in some areas. Could not imagine doing it in an impaired state.

Sorry if I did not explain it well. This person was a well trained and perceptive homeopath. Both she and another homeopath in her area treated an inordinate number of people who lived in her area with homeopathic Cannabis. Does that make sense?

I do not know of hand - but if you go to Normel website it is all over the site - yes I think that is true we could learn from each other and it would be great if we could break this stronghold - from what I read is that most Dems and Rep are supporting the Bill.

I am all in favor of undoing the Federal/BigPharma dictatorship in this. It at least gives Big Pharma 50 headaches in place of one, and may spread their collusion and greed a bit thinner.
