Antibiotic resistant bacteria you mean.
Antibiotics do not affect viruses. Using them for viral infectons is just stupidity, but there is plenty of it about!

Talked to my Japanese husband about it. He says that the practice of throwing antibiotics in the ocean was abandoned when fish farmers went back to fewer fish in the enclosed area.
All fish are labeled with for fish farming. Also, area of production is always there. Does it take a nuclear disaster to make the public talk back to government agencies? Certainly that US has had its share with oil spills and such. Why are we so docile?
