perhaps the rx was close but not quite correct

or she possibly took too much. when a rx is working you should not keep repeating it.
repeat only if there is a backwards movement in the case. you can also create a proving
if giving too much.

is she a very sensitive person; i.e., reacts strongly to minimal stimulus?

don’t repeat rx now. just wait and see what happens or let her vital force settle down

i would agree. some people seem to be able to take a 30c daily dose but most can't. you're prob onto something but dosing needs to be very carefully regulated or you can mess up whatever progress the remedy has to potentially offer.
