One more comment. I met someone at a hfs who's son developed asd at the age of 16 when he had to get vaccinated to participate at high school functions. He had previously been home schooled his whole life and no vaccines.

A small study that examined brains from children who died found abnormal patterns of cell growth in autistic children. The research bolsters evidence that something before birth might cause autism, at least in some cases.
Clusters of disorganized brain cells were discovered in tissue samples from brain regions important for regulating social functioning, emotions and communication — which can all be troublesome for children with autism.
The abnormalities were found in 10 of 11 children with autism, but in only one of 11 children without the disease. The children's brains were donated to science after death; causes of death included drowning, accidents, asthma and heart problems.
The authors said the clusters, detected with sophisticated lab tests, are likely defects that occurred during the second or third trimesters of pregnancy.
"Because this points to the biological onset in prenatal life, it calls sharply into question other popular notions about autism," including the scientifically debunked theory that childhood vaccines might be involved, said lead author Eric Courchesne, an autism researcher at the University of California, San Diego.
Experts not involved in the latest study called the results preliminary and said larger studies are needed to determine if the unusual brain development found in the study causes problems, and if it is truly common in autism or even in people without the disorder. What causes the unusual structure isn't known, Courchesne said, adding, "It could be gene mutations and environmental factors together."
Scientists have been working for decades to find the cause of autism, and they increasingly believe its origins begin before birth. In addition to genetics, previous research suggests other factors might include infections during pregnancy, preterm birth and fathers' older age at conception.
The study was published in Thursday's New England Journal of Medicine

Perhaps there are some traits that are shared before birth but I simply can NOT say that otherwise normal children would have fallen into autism hAd there not been the trigger of vaccines. Even my own children that were vaccinated suffered severe vomiting after vaccinations. Is this to say it's completely coinsidence that my non vaccinated child has none if the same health issues or vomiting episodes?

When will these people stop avoiding the obvious ?

It's happening now, at least in the USA, because autism cases are growing fast, can't be ignored, though whether they get causation correct is another issue.
Last night, this was on one of the local news stations. Seems New Jersey has the highest amount of autism cases in the USA and once our CDC is involved, watch out!
A new estimate on the number of children in the United States with autism spectrum disorders shows roughly a 30 percent rise between 2008 and 2010. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 1 in 68 8-year-olds have been identified with ASD with 1 in 45 children in New Jersey with the disorders.

My children had very few vaccinations, because I wouldn't allow any that I did not think were necessary. They were taking a visit to the Philippines to see their family, and polio was endemic there, so I allowed them to start the polio series, but both my wife and I decided that they would not continue. They did not react real well, and we stopped it. I am absolutely appalled that children get so many vaccinations. A spiritual mentor of mine about 40 years ago said that when people do something wrong they find it necessary to repeat it so as to justify it in their minds. I believe that this is what is going on here, partly. If some people are objecting to a few vaccinations, lets give them more and more vaccinations at an earlier and earlier age, because we all know that vaccinations are good. We'll show those protesters.

The supposed point of vaccinations is to get a healing reaction out of the person. The vaccine per se, supposedly, does not confer any benefit. So, wouldn't it make sense to those people who believe in vaccinations that there could be too many vaccinations all at once. It is like exercise is good for you, so let's bust our asses for 4 hours a day, that should also be good for us. I got the flu once with too much exercise and another time I got a severe 4 day migraine from very strenuous biking up a mountain in California.

But the fact that this reasoning doesn't seem to pass through the minds of vaccine proponents makes me believe the greed and justification and ass kissing and stupidity are important components of the vaccination fad.

And, of course, most people who have children are young an naive and easily influenced. Sort of like talking 18 year olds into joining the Army.
