Roger,

My general take on the quack busters' opinions is exactly the same!
Still I would love to hear of *other* people replicating his effects.
Tho on the other hand what does it really matter…

We do know that "thoughts" affect "things" at various subtle levels (let's start with the mind/brain connection and the brain/body connection), and the power of intention. So I wouldn't want to call anything like this "impossible" -- I think I will just keep an open mind, and enjoy the lovely pics. :-)

shannon,
this issue is the same as homeopathy.. it is about how energy moves and interacts
and affects everything around us.
the question is not whether this happens but how you control it.
quackbusters was set up by the pharma industry to create dissention, confusion,
and disruption in the popular movement to reclaim holistic and humanistic approaches
to health and healing. think of this as the COINTELPRO movement in the health sphere.
everything is energy. we, as a culture, have been duped into embracing a materialistic
view of life and the world. biology and chemistry are the mainstays of the arguments
that sell drugs and surgeries. however, everything is energy and without it we are no more.
it is energy that heals in almost every system worldwide except for western allopathy.
but it is wesetern mechanistic/materialistic paradigms that created the profit motive
with patents developed to guarantee profits for the big drug corporations.
if you apply what you know, then your skepticism should tilt towards more trust in this
new concept.

Hmmm…
My starting point would be more like, "Try it and see." "Open mind" is no insult.

Shannon, I do not remember where I read it, or saw it, maybe a TV documentary?
But the Russians did reseearch on thoughts and developed a way to detect "thought molecules" either positive or negative, around the person doing the thinking - detecing them up to a yard or two from the person.
Positive thoughts were dectected as such - also negative thoughts.
AT the time I thought How scary - thoughts are THAT clearly positive or negative (as opposed to nebulous nonentities) and just the thoughts can affect others near us, and ourselves presumably.

Tried to find it online.....
Found this instead..it says your thoughts can change your genes:

SO I think there is corroborration out there that thoughts have energy, power, effect, etc.

Namaste,
Irene

Hi again list, I never post to the list and here I am writing 3! LOL I have to let you know what just happened to me and my negative thoughts this week. My husband is bi-polar, he is extremely angry with me, again, over a minor incident. He stops talking to me for months, and right now he is in his 3 week of silence and behaving as though I don’t exist. I had enough of this behavior last week and could not control my negative thoughts, I wanted him dead....I kept thinking what a pain in the ass he is....my negative thoughts were getting the best of me, then on Friday evening I suddenly developed hemorrhoids, massive and excruciatingly painful. I tried 2 different remedies, nothing even touched the pain, I could not sleep at all because of the pain, I don’t have a hemorrhoid problem, this is not normal for me, it must be my negative thoughts that came back to me.....as a pain in the ass! I learned a very valuable lesson....I am just now able to walk without being in agonizing pain....I have experienced the reaction of negative thoughts on myself. Who would have thunk? LOL

Vitamin B6 deficiency makes hemorrrhoids, and/or the pain associated with them ..... just take 50 mg a day for a while.
(B6 is a stress nutrient, shortage can also cause nausea - aka morning sickness in pregnancy and PMS symptoms, that's all B6 shortage.)
If we use it up on getting stressed, it will tell us:-)

Thanks for the nice feedback on your kitty with ICT used :-)

Well, negative thoughts are stressful!
But how fun that you got such a tidy "translation" of them. :-)
