I disagree. Read Hahnemann's account of Scarlatina prophylaxis at Konigsburg, and Bradford's comparative success rate in a century of following epidemics.

You should ask Luc Delem, the owner of the pharmacy....
As for strain, if possible I would use a mix of strains but theoretically it does not seem important as we look for similarity, not identity...
Joe.

Elham,
I was under the impression that the genus epidemicus would be for a wide outbreak of disease that changes constantly, like the yearly flu. You don't know beforehand until it starts spreading what the main rubrics will be. There has been a seasonal Influenzinum made by Boiron, now they have Influenzinum 2014 based on whatever criteria they use to make one.
For diseases with known symptoms that don't seem to change like meningitis, smallpox, whooping cough, measles, chicken pox, etc. is there a need for a genus epidemicus to prevent or treat it?
The meningitis outbreak of 7 cases at Princeton isn't considered epidemic status and so far has only been students not faculty who interact with students nor workers at the university.

I've seen the opposite - and so have peple doing good formal studies on it like Isaac Golden.
Besides - the principle is Hahnemann's - and well proven - see aph 141.
