I was quite serious about dogs proving that homeopathy is based upon an "energy" or prana that is real, although not physical.

I notice that Hahnemann says that animals get remedies different from our. I have a question. Would each animal species get different remedies from other animal species? If your cat got xyz for a cough, would my dog probably not get xyz but rather abc for the same kind of cough?

In a more serious vein, I have seen cats respond to remedies given
to others. Once I gave a remedy to 1 cat and all 3 of them healed.
Another time, I had cat who was very close to me. While looking
for a remedy for her, I happened to be on a remedy which was having
a good impact on me. My cat, who would sink into my chest when I
was lying down, healed.
I totally agree about dogs and cats able to pick up the energy of others
and also that they can use the remedies for their own healing if it
is appropriate for them, too.

Anyone close to a dog knows that they are crazy about interspecies french kissing. I have two dogs who I adore, and they won't hesitate to go for my mouth. One is sort of placid and only goes for the mouth if it is close to her mouth. But the other one is as aggressive as a teenaged boy. I try to present my ear to her, and she gives it a slight lick, and then goes for the mouth. I have to hold her snout and place it back on my ear if I want to keep from having something disgusting happen to me.

Now, I am sure that you are probably wondering why I am telling you this. After millions of years of being pack animals and NEEDING to establish social harmony, only those wolves/dogs survived who had this behavior hardwired in their brains. And the reason is that this french kissing imparts "vibes", "energy" similar to the homeopathic "stuff", to the other animal and it establishes the needed harmony.

But, it goes beyond this. My dogs "believe" in this homeopathic kiss; they are enthusiastic about it. They LIKE it. I think that they experience the exchange of "vibes". I am not someone who thinks that some animals are just as smart as humans; that is just silly. But, according to Meher Baba, although their consciousness is not yet complete, their egos are much less tight. They are more likely to experience in some sense what we can no longer experience, the vibes of things, what we toss in our mouths along with the sugar pills when we take homeopathic remedies.

Very interesting! I have discovered that my dogs "communicate" with the sound of their breaths, and I have been able just now as I type to get them to look up and wag their tails simply by narrowing my breathing passageway and breathing a little deeper. When I was a child I breathed short breaths like a dog in front of my dog Coco and she growled at me. When I stopped, she stopped growling. And when I started back up, she started growling again. After doing this a handful of times, I did not pursue the investigation because she was almost as big as I was.

But lately with my two geese (as in "silly gooses" type dogs) have been observing obvious communication yet I was not able to understand how they did it until I noticed their breath and the sound of their breath, and when I duplicated it, viola!, wagging tails and efforts to execute interspecies french kissing upon my person.

I have two human-like dogs:-)) so this subject is very interesting to me.
Last month on BBC. there was a programme about a British dog lover (no longer with us) who apparently coined the phrase 'walkies'..sorry cannot remember the name. However she observed that if you breathed into an animals mouth, the animal would attach itself socially to you.

You remind me of my cat who would do exercises with me. I would have a floor routine
and the cat would come into the room and lie down next to me. When I turned left, she did.
When I turned right so did she. When I did other movements she would stretch in similar ways.
It always tickled me to see this.
There is a book out called Dancing with Cats. The woman would begin to do this with kittens
and the cats learned to dance with the owner.
Cats are much more tuned in to their humans than we think.

That is so interesting. I know of a case where a patient has a reaction to gulping their food, wherein they have a sensation (not overly painful but somewhat distressing) that occurs in the stomach manifesting as a lump stuck somewhere in the cardiac sphincter area. In more severe attacks they find by laying down it will help relieve the lump sensation. On one occasion they elected to lay down on the living room rug. I was told their cat came over and laid down beside them, when they rolled over on their back the cat moved to a different position on it's back with one paw held out imitating, as best a cat could do, the position of patient. Made me think of "Like cures Like" much as your cat experience suggests.

There is intelligent in the universe we have no understand of.

Your post just reminded me of the ordeal I went thru last year with a cat that I took in temporarily.
I had made the mistake of telling my cat not to fight with the new cat as he was probably frightened
and in a new place. My cat who can be very territorial and is a big fighter, never even hissed as this
new cat. The new cat saw this as his chance to become the alpha male and was really obnoxious and
aggressive to my cat. So even when I gave my cat permission to defend himself it was already too late
and my cat;s stress level was causing other symptoms to develop.
At that point I did an animal communication to see what info I could get. It was clear that the guest cat
was frightened of other cats. Turns out that he never was socialized to be a cat and had been taken in
by a woman who doted on/spoiled him. He would act out whenever he wanted attention. One of his
things was to claw my face in the middle of the night when he wanted something. We stopped that
right quick. But he did not know how to communicate with other animals. My cat ‘said’ that he tried
to communicate with the guest but he acted like he didn’t understand. We told the cat he needed to
chill out if he wanted to stay and that he should watch my cat or others in the neighborhood to try and
learn how to be a cat that was wanted.
He immediately cut back on the aggressiveness but he never could really adjust. I had to call my son and dil
to get him and take him home or find another one for him

It’s not that bad. We humans don’t understand cats and their level of acceptance/tolerance.

I think that I saw what he said on Hpathy, but I am not certain. It was about how you can't give the same remedy to animals as you can to humans. So I wondered if that applies to one species of animals vs. another species of animals.
