Thanks for mentioning Keto diet.

We are planning to start that shortly if nothing works out. We have been postponing that idea for last couple of years, considering the calculations to be made for each meal. As of now, she is on rice, dhal, and vegetables.

Most of the time, she does not get the effect of a meal. She vomits a lotttttttttt, for every meal, which the doctors not able to find an answer. They want us to give Domstal on a daily basis. I am very hesitant to add more and more drug.

We are starting on coconut oil, soon.

I think much is being done for the daughter of Banu but I think someone of the experienced doctors at list should send her a questionnaire for her daughter and see the case in depth. Perhaps some miasms may be active since her birth or after vaccination. I agree diet is important but i don't think that regimen will alleviate seizures. Medicine and that too a similimum is inevitable in such cases.

I don't know why any homeopath would say there wasn't much hope.
People are cured all the time.

Any person that says there is not much hope...usually means they do not know what to do to solve the issue. Keep seeking, keep searching till you find someone who will think out of the box and solve the issue. There is always hope!

Both said not to have any hopes on her.

Thanks SKR for your memory. You had recommended a homeopath in Chennai couple of years ago. We did meet him and started the treatment. But unfortunately he also did not give much hope in curing her.

Banu, what has her diet been so far?
I have read recently that coconut oil and putting the person into ketosis (byw hich I do NOT mean the dangerous ketoacidosis state of diabetes, but simply a state where the body is burning fats for energy instead of carbs) can control epilepsy. Is this something you're aware of? (I would have to google for more details.) Coconut oil favors healthy ketosis and is also healing to the nervous system--or so I have read; can be safely used as a major calorie source.

We did see couple of homeopaths who don't give much hope. We have given even the smallest of the information to them, but they could not figure out why. Heart breaking thing is, she is cognitively good. I am very confident she can understand what is communicated to her. Only thing she is not able communicate it back to us either verbally or by way of signs. Most of the time she uses eye movement.
Cal-Phos, Calcarea Phos seems to help her a bit. But does not stop the seizures.
These are the vaccines given to her -
BCG / Polio / Hep B - on the first day of birth

DTPa / Polio / Hep B / Hib - at 6th week

DTPa/ Polio / Hep B / Hib - at 10th week

Hep B - at 25th week

Measles - at 36th week

We can't always figure out 'the why' - we can find contributing causes,like the vaccines.
Are you seeing a homeopath? If so, how long, and have any remedies helped? The copper could be high because of the effect of vaccines or something in the environment. Waiting to hear......

I consulted one of the most well known homeopaths in the US only to have failure and then found a homeopath in my town who used water potencies (LMs) and was cured of migraines in less than 2 months

I know migraines aren't as serious or complicated as your daughter, but you need a better homeopath
