Flight of fancy perhaps, but I wonder whether e.g. *toasted* aphid would be any more effective? (As was the snail.) This would make sense from the standpoint of finding that *similarity* is often more effective than identity (i.e. than isopathy). (I wonder whether there is any comparison of toasted vs. raw snail for that use?)

I think from what Kaviraj told me, aphid every which way was tried but without success.

Yes. That was one of the ways in which I wasted 3 years trying to find a remedy for aphids. I drowned them in alcohol, ground them up as single species and as multiple species, toasted single and multiple species, and nothing worked.
