Re: worldwide demonstration against Homeopathy
Well, if this group is directly attached to big pharma $ then they are revving up their assault tactics.
But, as with a broken record, let me again note the international efforts towards a new one world
order. The Codex alimentarius is the prong dealing with food and health issues. It supports drugs,
gmo's, no food supplements, drugs for every animal (including pets), vaccines, antibiotics, and
definitely no organics.
So putting this little effort into context, makes the attack more understandable as the draconian
efforts to gain control over the minds and hearts of the public as they march down the aisle
toward totalitarian control of us all.
The story of your father, while very sad and painful for you, is just one of the millions of such stories.
Yesterday, a friend reported a similar death by stupidity, and toxic drugs of his 49 yr old cousin
who was in a rehab center. He was having convulsive attacks and ultimately went comatose and
died--all within about 1 week's time. The suddeness of the reactions seem to drug related which
the center won't acknowledge. Let's see what the autopsy says. I sometimes feel like I live in a
world where there is nothing left but these tragic stories.

'They' must be worried after CBC -Marketplace aired recently citing homeopathy as '" one of the country's fastest growing alternative health treatments: homeopathy.'
My father spent the last 5 years drugged to the eyeballs and the last year in a nursing home not being able to walk, in diapers and just talking nonsense....His last steep downward spiral was to due to a 'male castration drug' for his unproven prostrate cancer. He died last week at the age of 85. I gave him multi-vitamins and such under the cover of night without the rest of my family knowing as they would have wanted me to get them okayed by the pharmacist in case they reduced the efficacy of the drugs:-0. It made me feel as if I was giving cocaine, 'Here Dad take this before the nurse passes by.' What a STUPID state of affairs......

Yes. People will deny what is in front of their noses if it does not agree with their
expectations and belief systems. In social science the concept is called Cognitive
Dissonance.
We see this everyday in all kinds of institutional situations. Racism is another big
arena of Cognitive Dissonance. We see it in education where teachers set low, or
high expectations, based on their belief systems about a child according to his/her
color, gender, economic status, etc. And in medicine, doctors who diagnose cancer,
operate several times, ring the death bells, will not accept that the patient left allopathy,
went to a homeopath and became totally healed. They will even say the person
really did not have cancer. We have a few such cases of members of the UK group
dealing with homeopathy in the media. They have written up their stories and spoken
publically several times.

My mother nearly died at age 80+ when after she had an angioplasty they put her on a cocktail of 10 drugs - she was even getting mini fits. I put her on Crateagus herbal tincture and Ars 6 pn, they agreed to cut the drugs to the bare minimum (Fusid for water retention and another I can't remember what it was). There were no more fits and she lived a useful life until she dropped dead suddenly at 93 from a probable heart attack which was just the way she wanted to go.

You ask what we can do in India?
For starters we could hold a demo. against allopathy and show all those
who are interested how dangerous allopathy is and the damage it does
to the system.

However, if it is true--as I have heard in the past--that some companies are mixing e.g. steroids into the remedies--and failing to note that this has been done--then that is an *important* issue that needs addressing.
Or is it just an urban legend--anyone know?

I think this should be rethought. The situation in India is quite different than
in the West. There, homeopaths and allopaths work in the same hospitals
and small health kiosks are not frowned upon in the poorer sections. There
are many more homeopathic colleges and the profession seems to have
a very strong rootedness.
The approach there might not want to create alienation between the 2 protocols
no matter what we think of allopathic treatment.

I sent them a letter and told them if their campaign does well then we would
like to use their campaign format to fight pharmaceuticals that have been put
out on the market without enough testing.

Re: worldwide demonstration against Homeopathy
Mixing of steroids in homeopathic meds. is a rumour started by allopaths. The other one
is that no one really knows what the homeopathic pills contain. The h/doctrs go by the
name on the bottle (as if the allopaths don't go by the name on the bottle).
Those in the 'know' tell me that if homeopathic medicated pills are sent to a Laboratory
for analysis it will not find the homeopathic med. as it is very diluted. But instead it will
show that the sample probably has steroids.
This will always happen even if one makes a hand succused potion with alcohol.
I believe that the lab has to be forewarned that the meds have been diluted with
alcohol so that they can make the necessary allowance for alcohol. Otherwise, I
am told , the sample will always show up as possibly containing steroids. I can't imagine
why. And this is the reason for the false rumour.
The manufacture of homeopathic meds have to pass stricter checks in India than in most
other countries.

Re: worldwide demonstration against Homeopathy
how does alcohol translate into steroids? do they have an alcohol component?
and is this reading a real steroid or simply a ventured list of possible alcohol type
components. that would be pretty specious interpretation then.
