It's interesting that there seems to be a good deal of experience of success in using tautopathological approaches in serious illnesses like this.
The comparison would require also a figure showing a success rate for this procedure. All we can say from the article is that it appears to be at least 18%. Given that many types of cancers have much higher five-year survival rates than that without treatment of any kind, the numbers give suggest success without actually evidencing it at all.

I thought you did a science degree. Examine what the figures represent, and then try calculating the possible range of overall effectiveness, and tell me what you get. I get a possible range of 18% to 63%. That tells us only that at least 18% survived. It is, to say the least, unimpressive.

You must always keep in mind that years of survival as a standard of success is an arbitrary number.
As regards Cancer, it is well known that it takes about 5 yrs after tx for the cancer to redevelop sufficiently
for it to be rediagnosed. So, the 5 yr figure is a safe number for allopathy to use to bolster its PR and profiteering.
It promises false hope to so many people. But then the medical industry doesn't say that the cancer has
returned. Instead it says the person has developed ANOTHER cancer, especially if it is in another part of
the body.
Numbers are very tricky things and only as good as the people who manipulate them,

I agree completely; each use of the word "success" in my note below should really have been in quotation marks.
