Hugh,
As a follow-up on this question: The mother called me yesterday to complain about ongoing sx of her daughter. In talking about the situation, she revealed that her daughter was left with some friends of the parents for a day while they went to do some business. The baby was clinging the next day began to develop sx. I will be seeing the baby this morning, but it now sound like this child was experiencing some abandonment anxiety or a bit of grief. Her cold sx and loose cough are looking more like a Nat m cold. So much for parental anxiety.

Dear Tanya,
Thanks for the subsequent news bulletin. It's often easy to underestimate
the emotional aspects surrounding the whole issue of vaccination, as well as
'abandonment issues' as well !
Best wishes,
Hugh
