Hi, Joy --
From what you're saying here (though I don't know what you mean by "A/f"; evidently not "aggravated by"), I gather that you're taking "fever" to encompass "chill"; is that so? Careful checking confirmed for me that "fever" in the repertory and materia medica means only the heat stage(s) of any fever pattern (though that stage may be mixed with others, such that a patient can experience chilliness or perspiration during a hot stage), and that "chill" doesn't encompass mere chilliness or becoming cold but is related only to the chill in a fever pattern. For that reason, I'd be excluding the rubric referring to chill. But you found plenty else to go on with!
Shannon, the trouble with discussion of a single interesting symptom or two is that it can appear to represent an attempt to base a homoeopathic prescription entirely on that. Some contributors to this list do appear to do just that, often justifying the lack of proper case-taking by use of the claim of a "one-sided" illness; but I think it's safe to assume that Soroush will already have taken a complete case, and is simply rounding out his repertorisation as accurately as he might. The value of "SRP" symptoms is that they can quickly guide one's exploration -- never one's prescription.

Just to clarify - A/f = ailments from and 'chill' means the chill part of fever but sometimes, as I am sure you know, that when looking for good rubrics, the best you can find, you need to do extra research to help suggest remedies so I used that to see what it would suggest to me in the way of rx and there are anomalies there anyway when you come to study the rx in the MM's. So yes what you say is correct.

Ah -- thank you, Joy. I'm too slow, I'm afraid, to keep up with all the initialisms that spring up on Minutus! Yes, I understand your reasoning in using analogy to look further afield. It'd be instructive to know what the anomalies are, but I won't impose on you for that.
Cheers!

Re: Cold urticaria
No that's ok but I did already mention them - 2 examples Cop and Ign both in the 'urticaria during chill' rubric but in fact both more specifically has urticaria during a fever (heat stage) but both do have an increasingly sensitive skin to cold air of some kind or another but not apparently linked to the urticaria - so more topsy turvy than anomaly maybe but goes to show the MM's are a more secure rendering of a remedy picture.
By the way (for Soroush) maybe 'urticaria on uncovered parts only' might also be useful.
