Hello Shannon,
On my system when I use Google - if I pull up a webpage in any foreign language - a bar appears across the top stating 'this page is in . . . ' for example German - and on the right side of that bar is a translate button. You can also request to 'always translate' the language. I think it is a standard feature.

Mine doesn't seem to do that, but I was able to google the google translation page...
Tomorrow I'll try to work my way through it, and figure out the "weird words."
