I agree totally and have been saying the same.
If I wanted a class in an obscure embroidery technique and someone
said they did that but really taught cross-stitch, I would not be
happy as a consumer
And as you said, if I wanted a massage but got a perm, would not be
happy. And actually I have paid for a massage and got hovering hands
with aroma in the room as a substitute and I was not happy.

I agree with Paul - it is a material dose
And what does classical mean to you?
The French are only allowed to use low potencies (which is certainly better for chronics but not for acutes)
And I haven't found them to be classical anyway
And what are those principles?
Again, what are the principles?
And why would that be ?
If it is the simillimum?

Sounds like what Hahnemann says...............
reminds of Footnote 1 of Aphorism 1
footnote 1"The physician's calling is not to concoct so-called systems from empty conceits and hypotheses concerning the inner wesen (my note-kind of like nature or knowing) of the life process and the origins of disease in the invisible interior of the organism (on which so many physicians mongering for fame have hitherto wasted their time and energy). "

Unless we are following principles, then we are just guessing as allopaths do
Again, same as above
I felt that Paul was very thorough in pointing out why it was not homeopathy - using much support info.

Just because someone wrote a book and calls it homeopathy, does not make it so.

different story usually when using in water where you can dilute more in reserve bottle and also do dilutions in 1, 2 or 3 or more cups and change dose that goes from bottle to cup and change succussions
I disagree too. Have never found a need for drainage remedies

add me to your list, then.
When remedies are used in water in the proper way , it makes all the difference in the world
Can use potency and dose

and DOSE!
I keep bringing it up because it is part of prescribing but nobody seems to know what it is or acknowledge the importance of the dose.

Tell me how dose is different from potency?

When I plan a trip, I check oil and gas in the engine and air in the tires; that is not driving, but it helps me getting there alive.
When I want to paint a wall, I start with cleaning it and sanding it; that is not painting but the results are way better.
When I was a surgeon, before operating on a patient, I was treating the heart, the lungs, hidden infections, etc...; that is not operating but helped having a patient alive at the end of the procedure.
When I see a patient that is clearly full of "toxic stuff" (sorry for the very scientific term) and whose organs do not function properly, I do repair them the best I can before going to the deeper issues that brought him to that stage; that is not homeopathy (here at least we all agree!) but it makes for a smoother, faster and more in depth ride with the homeopathic treatment.
If that does not make sense to you.................

Please carry on having a conversation with yourself - go round and round.
I'm done. (Oh, by the way, in British English that means I;m finished with something)
