Kerry, you might try now giving him some Calendula to clear up the wound now that it's drained.

When normally repping for my animals I include change of nature due to
illness, but with this boy I have no idea how he has changed
unfortunately. I have found in the past that trying to include the
characteristics can lead me up a blind alley if it is an animal whose
nature I am not familiar with due to it being a stray.

I am afraid I have totally lost faith in animal communicators after
having seen so many people being given wrong info that has hindered
rather than helped. I prefer to go with what I can see and perceive
myself, offering different choices to figure out modalities such as < or
particular preferences and is happy to have heat or cold on the wound
and heat and cold in the room. No preference for fresh air or distress
from drafts.

With regards to the effect of the Pyrogen, he is much, much more active
and alert. The place that opened up above the wounds is still oozing
some serum.

I managed to find my notes from a previous Adder bite that I treated and
I had totally forgotten that I tried Pyrogen on that one, but though it
showed some improvement, it didn't cure. The improvement was similar in
nature to this little boy, though nowhere near as drastic, with just
some thick red serum/blood oozing from the actual site of the wounds.

I'll update tomorrow.

Thanks for your further input.
Kerry

sorry your animal communicator experiences were so poor. i had this
wonderful woman who was also a medical intuitive. she was so right on
with my cats. unfortunately she passed suddenly right after my 19 yr old
cat transitioned. i am reluctant to try someone else for fear of being
disappointed. i did use a couple of other people on occasion. while
seemingly okay, they were not medically intuitive and so didn't really meet
my needs.
but thank you for continuing to share this case. it is being quite informative

Hi Mair

Thanks for your continuing input. I had tried Calendula with the
previous Adder bite cat with no change whatsoever, so I think I should
try something else first. I have given another dose of Pyro and there
is some discharge from the wounds so I will see what is happening
tomorrow and take it from there. I am still thinking of changing to the
Myristica. I have had a chaotically busy day and not had chance to do
any reading but will definitely read up more on remedies tomorrow. In
himself he is well and still much more active which is a good sign.

Sending this again:
Hi Jean

I have already used Calc sulph and this did give some improvement but
then back to the wound just sitting there and not healing.

Kerry, sometimes the silicea is best when it's already open. Since you already tried the Calendula, that might be best, but remember what I said about the pyrogen sometimes taking quite a long time to heal. It will work, but does take time in these cases!! Keep your chin up!! You're doing great work!!

Hi Mair

When I tried the Silicea it had already opened and the Silicea did
nothing. I had the same problem with the last Adder bite in that
remedies that seemed appropriate just didn’t heal it. :-( With him
having such a rapid initial reaction to remedies, I would have thought
that if I was on to the right remedy that the reaction wouldn't tail off
so quickly, especially with him reacting so well to low potencies, but
perhaps I am wrong thinking that???????? The weeping area where the
blood "abscess" was has nearly healed now but the wounds are back to
being smelly and horrible, not properly discharging, just stagnant.

Do look at Carbo An. It has putrid discharges and wounds. I remember a lecturer tellingus it was the only Rx to heal a fistula.
