Again, i it's a crime only if it's deliberate, or at least done in absence of a normal degree of care. Which can't really be said of someone who is only following the "prevailing wisdom" to the best of their ability.

One of the many reasons it's such a shame that homeopathy isn't taken seriously by "the mainstream medical system" is because of the clues to "cause" that come out of homeopathic cures of some conditions--when the patient has to get potentized vaccine in order to fully recover, it does look like a pretty strong implication of the vaccine--IF you "believe in" homeopathy. (And if you don't "believe in" homeopathy, then of course it proves nothing at all.) But it does seem that the more of these cases can be written up, published, and *documented*, could eventually be a very good thing--once any of the key people become willing to listen and consider.

Also, it seems important to have statistics about disease rates and health outcomes broken down into vaccinated and unvaccinated. I wonder what it would take to have that done.

Please, does that really matter that much to you? Protecting a well-known stranger from libel???
The point is...he does not represent anything near a natural, holistic standard of care which he claims to represent, nor have anything worthy to contribute to homeopathy - and even contradicts himself in the statements Sheri sent along....

"I'm aware of the anti-immunizations movement fueled by parental concerns about developmental disabilities, *but I don't think there is any good evidence linking the vaccines to these disorders*, which is why my daughter had all her shots as scheduled. If you're
concerned about side effects, have your pediatrician check your
children over first (serious reactions are more likely in sick
children). *You also may want to look into homeopathic treatments designed to reduce the risk of vaccine reactions."*

Says there is no evidence of vaccine disorders...what planet is he on?
Says Homeopathic treatments are designed to reduce the risk of vaccine reactions. Obviously no clue what homeopathy is.
Same statement contradicts the first.

He also brags several times here alone about his daughter getting all her shots. Poor girl. Father is famous for being a natural lifestyle guru and regularly poisons his family with pharma.

But people do say awful things about some of us, here! People who condemn criticism here are the ones who are not shy of being extremely critical themselves. Weird. Must be a bad moon phase.

And Shannon, you repeatedly object to the *airing of ideas* if they are not yours. I don't think anyone is advocating a continual 'name and shame' but when it does happen some of us want to take note of what is being said. Whatever happened to free speech. If you are concerned about libel you'd better keep quiet yourself.

hi everyone. i am reasonably new to the list and so i can appreciate if you dont' want my advice, but aren't there rules for Minutus to keep the topic, somewhat, to homeopathy? every list i have ever participated in eventually devolves into this kind of personal backbiting stuff. it's a function of (some) people being willing to say things in type that they would normally restrain themselves from saying in person. i admit to being curious and so i am opening all these messages, whereas i could just delete the whole thread, but it is really tiring to read all this. we should stick to homeopathy and take the personal stuff offline.

Sheri and Tanya,

Opinions are fine, but how would you like it if someone said the same awful things about you ? The Golden Rule should apply in some way when one airs an opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and to voice it, but no one is entitled to so libel another person especially not in that way. Sheri feels strongly about vaccinations, as do most of us but come on there is a fine line. I definitely agree with Shannon on this issue.

Dear Shannon
Here, in India, we have a saying: "The fruit bearing tree, will face stone pelting".
I appreciate your spirit in the ongoing discussion.
Do you feel that the 'attack' is 'personal'/'intentional'? Or it is on a person 'x' , for what he did?
And why not we [ you and me, ], start using our creative energy, for higher causes?
Truly
Sri

This topic has a great deal to do with homeopathy and how it is being practised. This list is also about the dissemination of information with regard to homeopathy and we have a right to know about matters that affect us - we also have a right to form opinions. The situation only gets silly when people post somewhat hysterical affronts and the topics get sidelined and becomes completely nothing to do with homeopathy.

My dear Joy
Libelling is easy too - but could become VERY expensive. Just ask Private Eye!
If we say something we should be able to back it up with evidence, or use the word allegedly!
I knew watching Have I got News For You would come in useful one day! :-))

Nothing libelous so far - someone saying it is doesn't make it so. Let's not live in fear, Ian doesn't and we might end up with nothing to talk about :-))
