I hear ya! The last time this was in the news, I couldn't find anything on line so I went to the store and read the package info.
Good point. Also find it interesting this is the second time Zicam has been in the news about their
use of homeopathic ingredients. Previous reading of the packaging listed the homeopathic ingredient as the only active and it was HPUS.

Most likely those other "inert" ingredients are used in many OTC products. If there are not many FDA complaints about products using those ingredients, and many complaints with one using Zincum Gluconicum, the FDA is going to blame Zinc not those other ingredients. It's guilt by association.
