Hi Irene,

The mucus membrane are the best transmitters is what I heard. But I
guess, there are others maybe not quite so good? I think I will carry
a bit of arnica gel with me when I go to Akikdo practice.

This is a related question. A patient who bhad been married to a
violent immoral person was asking me yesterday if the miasmatic energy
could pass through kissing. I had told her that the disease may not
pass, but the energy passes through sexual contact. I had been asking
her about sexual relationships and was looking for evidence of sexual
disease or contact with such disease. I said no to her question just
because I didn't want to disturb her, but I am not sure. Of course
this is all dependent on susceptibility so that makes the answer even
more fuzzy.

What do you think? I guess this would be a hard thing to know, but at
least there must be some stories suggesting an answer.

Yes, I agree.

It always throws me a bit when I go searching for sexual disease type
history. If it comes out naturally, it's different, but when I am
asking, there is something wrong with the interchange that goes beyond
the stigma of sexual diseases. Looking for a "cause" for those miasm
is like looking for negativity. I don't know how to get around this
feeling.

My experience is that the remedy energy travels through air, skin,
and any other surface, including glass, AND that it can travel long
distance if directed to someone far away. Perhaps nerves are involved
in telling the brain the remedy was detected.
Some examples:
Holding a glass vial of dry pellet remedy in one's bra, can cause a
nasty aggravation if the wearer forgets it is there. I discovered
this when I wanted to know if a remedy was right or wrong for me some
years back.
There is definitely not touch needed to detect a remedy. I can give
cats two saucers of aqueous remedy, and they will unerringly select
the one that matches them IF it is one of the remedies. I once had a
cat somehow know I had her right remedy with me as I returned from
the store with various things including her remedy - and she set up
howling to get it, an would not quiet till she got it. I still
remember the day my cousin (the one who first taught me homeopathy)
had a cell-phonecall from her daughter who was camping in the Namib
desert and had just been bitten by a poisonous snake. Too far from
help, and no antidote handy she phoned her mom who was able to
transmit the remedy energy to her daughter, to overcome the snake
venom. I can not explain these events - I have just seen them
personally.

It is quite possible that we are looking for answers on remedy energy
transmission in the wrong places - the places like mucus membranes or
nerves - places that we know something about, and which therefore are
more comfortable concepts - and thus we may be shutting out the
concepts actually needed here that include the answer - the ones we
can not currently explain. The problem is that, as with any
scientific answer - it needs to fit ALL the occurrences that need to
be explained - not just the convenient ones that makes sense with
current knowledge. The longer we limit our thinking to current
knowledge as a boun dary on options - instead of thinking "what can
possibly cover ALL the occurrences we know about where remedy works"
- we ared most unlikely to find the REAL answer:-)
We can not ignore the many ways we SEE remedies work, just because
they are uncomfortable to include by basing the action on "accepted"
current thinking alone:-)
I don't like the gel, too greasy - I'd suggest the cream. But maybe
I am too prejudiced myself:-)
Use what suits you:-)

Research on thought, shows that thought molecules occur at least a
meter away from the body (less of them further out) and affect those
around us, and that they can be measured as positive or negative
thoughts.
Does that affect passing a miasm?
I do not know.

It makes fascinating (logical) reading and i can quigte see that
energy meridians make snese as the highways for homeopathic energy -
and other healing energy - in the body.

You also say "Reiki practitioners use energy to modify functions;
even though a general treatment is the preferred method, local
application of Reiki and distance healing could work through the same
pattern of information transmitted via the meridian system."

Both distance Reiki and Distance homeopathy do work, but what is the
energy transference mode to get it form source to the body of the
individual needing it with its meridian systems? Both methods (which
I know too little about, have just seen them work) seem to need some
kind of method to direct the energy to the individual. It's not just
random...?
And how does a cat know there is a remedy that suits them without
touching it, and they do not respond to one that has no effect for
them, or they actually reject it when it is close to them.
How far from the body are meridians "detectable" - or rather how do
they detect "incoming energy" is what I wonder?

I sure wish my forgettery was less perfect, I used to know the Touch
for Health system (refs all lost) - which also uses meridians, and
accpressure points that are stimulated by rotating finger pressure.
Your write-up mentioned specific meridians related to asthma for
example, and my own asthma disappeared overnight (permanently) after
I volunteered as a practice dummy for the day before exams in Touch
for Health were to be taken in Cape Town:-)

I only know one person who did/does distance homeopathy. Is that a
"lost art" i wonder? (I am told it was outlawed at some stage.)

Yes this transmission problem is beyond our normal paradigms.
I don't know how fast nerve impulses travel, I have had and have
patients who have had instantaneous reactions to a remedy. I think it
is the speed and also the huge reduction in pain etc. Somehow nerve
impulse does not explain the sudden effect.

I have all my travel remedies in jewelery size plastic bags. They
are all in one bag. I guess the plastic is not the same as glass.
But you would think that if the glass leaks out energy to your chest
under your bra, then the remedies sitting in a box together would also
mix. This does not seem to occur. Weird.

Distance healing is not an exclusive homeopathy phenomenon. It:s
important that the receiver should want the healing from you. Other
than that, you become the healing energy and merge at a level beyond
time and space. So it could be a remedy or just a thought. Or
nothing at all. Just merging.

this is like asking if miasms are contagious. maybe my thoughts
this morning will only add confusion but here they are:
we are so ignorant of energy in our cultures due to
the materialistic nature of so-called science. however,
people throughout the world have been doing energy healing
throughout the ages. today we struggle with the conflict
between materialistic science and the non-materialistic
realities of the world. due to the high level of socialized
thinking around science it seems like such a stretch for people
to trust in the 'invisible,' even for those practicing homeopathy.
but we believe in empathy and send sympathy constantly which are
attempts to send supportive energy to others and we think nothing
of doing this. many of us believe that our intent affects the
cases we work on.
i just read an article about hahneman's non-materialistic
roots that influenced his thinking. someone had sent me a link
to a site with remedy provings and while exploring that site
came across this article which talked about the relationship of
homeopathy to alchemy. now here goes the heresy for many--the
article did a comparison of homeopathic theory to alchemy and
shamanism. it went so far as to suggest that people stop trying
to prove homeopathy with the use of mechanistic science and
bold-face say that it is something else totally. we have a protocol
based on the sending of intention in our remedies. we have an
art form. we have an individualized protocol which is the exact
opposite of western scientific thinking which tries to reduce
things to a one-size-fits-all model. the comparison was much more
detailed than this. the article ended by noting international
agreements that recognize people's right to hold their personal
beliefs and practices without prejudice; ie, governments do not
have the right to legislate our practice! the recommendation was
the we shift our argument totally in dealing with our critics.
i found this interesting to contemplate and found these thoughts
relevant to the question raised about transmission of miasms.

Ah, I wish I knew the answers to your questions, especially the "how" ones.........I do not have an answer for that................ Yet.
But it is not random, you send with intent; that is how prayer groups work. I call them "wild reiki" but it is the concentrated intent to cure upon the chosen patient that is effective.
As for distant homeopathy, I do sometimes give a remedy through my hands, works well IF the remedy is well chosen and IF I know the remedy well; and we have all experienced a patient saying he feels already better once we have chosen, but not yet given/prescribed the correct remedy. It is energetic medicine after all.....but I cannot push myself to start treating people at distance that way, I am too much a materialistic bum to do that.......but should the day come we have no access to certain remedies, I will consider that.
And I know a few colleagues who are creating their remedies by holding a vial of virgin globules and imprinting the remedy and its potency on the globules that way; they have very good results.

Dear Dr. Roz,
Haven't you had a patient call you from a far? They are having an
aggravation and it is not wise to change the remedy. You ask them to
hang up the phone and lay down or get in as relaxed a position as
possible. You give them a time frame of say 3-11 minutes. During
that period you broadcast healing intention to them. It is not the
same as giving the correct remedy, but it helps them get over the
aggravation. Interesting that even the clingy Ars does not keep
pestering you. They know that they are receiving support and that
seems to be enough to tide them over during the aggravation. Not to
be confused with a needed trip to the emergency room.
