Hmm, that's why I always consider using a dose of Aconite (fear of death) *in the first instance* after a severe trauma involving broken bones - i.e. *before* Arnica, Bryonia, Rhus tox, or Symphytum etc. Reducing or eliminating the initial fright and shock prepares the constitutional terrain for the rest of the physical healing to take place. We shouldn't forget that the stress of the initial fright (and how it is perceived by the person) can be stored within the constitutional terrain for a very, very long time, and as you say Tanya, it can become an obstacle to cure...

i often give arnica for M/E trauma before whatever other rx for a healing for
exactly the reason you state--a holding of the fears/shock in the system. it
has worked very well for many cases. once someone gave me arnica for
childhood trauma energy still locked in my system. even after several
decades it worked well for that purpose.

Also remember to ask about treatment and handling by the day to day staff in hospital, rehab / nursing home or ‘home health care’. The current state of affairs in US facilities is dreadful. The patients are subject to intimidation, abuse, neglect, etc. – all of which call for Arnica and/or Aconite (among other things) along with a warning that a member of the family MUST be with the individual at all times. The initial trauma may be eclipsed by the daily trauma. I have too many clients that have been through this portion of the ‘system’ recently – and the stories are all the same. It does not matter how well reputed the facilities are. When my mother was recently in a rehab (after surgery) I witnessed these problems (and more) and resorted to staying with her 22 hours per day – and having her discharged far earlier than would have been ideal.
Don’t count on the patient to speak up – they are often overmedicated, and frequently frightened by the ‘care giver’. Look for signs of abuse, dehydration, etc.
Dehydration in these facilities is a major problem.

Dehydration is a major problem because no one wants to deal with helping people take care of elimination! Sad but true.

shutting elders away in prison seems to be another symptom of what is
deeply wrong with our society.

kind of like with children ... people bring children into the world,
are all wrapped up on love for the child; the child is a central focus
of their life (s/he is after all, their progeny; 'the future' of their
genetic lineage; of humankind..)

So, we have this precious beings come into our lives, then what?

We give them away for someone else to raise. Send them to kid prison.
Shut 'em up with drugs if the school deems is useful to do so.

It all seems so disconnected.

People in countries where they have dirt floors seem to have richer lives.

Thank you for your interpretation. I agree, and for my current case with
this remedy there is severe nerve damage and locomotor ataxia - along with
'weakness' of the lower limbs. I was hoping to learn more from anyone who
had used the remedy - since it is always difficult to interpret observations
when an individual is in a muddle caused by medications.
