Dear Irene,
What an interesting thing you are asking me to do!! I will try to reply the best I can.

Could I please ask you to help my own research in ICTs by confirming
if my physical characteristics for Puls transfer well to people (as I
study them in cats). If so I would predict the folllowing in this
child (and please will you say yes or no?):
The characteristics are "relative" not necessarily extreme:

* Bigger than her classmates/peers, by being taller (she will fill out later, may be slim now);

YES (She is not particularly slim now which was one of the reasons I went for Calc!!)
* NOT fine-boned, has heavier boning,>

* Deep chest front-to-back, with relatively prominent chestbone in

NO it is past her shoulders and was left loose but she is only 4 and probably doesn't have a choice!!

Climbed up some high scaffolding with dad and loved it
* Instinctively knows if someone new respects her for who she is, and
takes to them immediately but shuns anyone not in that category. [In
cats this is a weird characteristic as in show cats as they really
"perform" and purr for judges who like their look and they strongly

Mum was amazed how she took to me and my home from the moment she jumped out of the car. I got the feeling that this was most unexpected and hadn't happened before with anyone

* Like to have their feet firmly planted and choose activities

Correct

Tidying up well is typical Puls by the way. Puls cats will even eat
the spilled kibble other cats leave dropped outside the food bowl.
They also are very obedient - will do what you say (but may complain
that they have to do it).>>

When I asked her to tidy up the toys she did it without a fuss.

Many thanks for these insights............
Puls animals tend to be much "too big" for their breed, and the low-
slung ones have problems with the big prominent chest. For example A
Basset hound puls male I know, has a callus on his chest where it
bumps the stairs. But when I see them as very young, they can be
just long - long limbs everywhere but always big front paws, biggish
ears, that they grow into later.
What age they "fill out or grow into" the early larger features is
hard to judge - as age of each species is not directly comparable.
So it is interesting to me that at age 4 she has already gotten
larger and filled out, not just the tall part that comes first:-)
I presume you mean this was not obvious? May also be hard to tell at
4. But will likely be very straight, symmetrical and firm. NO
tendency to rickets-looking as you sometimes see in fine boned types.

Hard to judge unless you have classmates to compare with too I imagine.
But this is a strong Puls feature in animals.
Also a bit young to "enforce" personal preferences.

Ah. this one I'd like to discuss.
There's something I need to put my finger on with Puls - and I see it
as wanting to be attached to "terra firma". And yet cats for example,
will go hang out in high places, and will often be "topcat" which is
not called that for nothing - they hang out higher than others as
well as being hierarchically on top.
Clues: Lift a Puls animal with all feet dangling and they all
scrabble for a foothold. They do not like to skid but because they
are heavy, they tend to skid when jumping to a smooth surface, and
skidding (or being non-firmly-attached?) is a nono for them - they
want a secure footing. They are not the tight-rope walkers by any
means, and tend to be careful when it comes to climbing/jumping.
You mentioned this little girl wants her shoes and socks off - i see
that as a part of this - wanting to be attached to the ground. Shoes
and socks are slippery compared with bare feet.
Maybe it is more a mater of wanting to feel they have a firm footing?
Whether high or low.
Scaffolding does not sway like trees. And Puls cats climb bookcases
just fine - but something that moves - forget it.

What is there is every Puls animal is a love for lying on the bed.
They can never be persuaded to stay of a bed.
Dunno how to translate that one to human:-)
My friend with the oversize puls dog has to alllow him on the bed or
couch - all her other 4 dogs will refrain. Charlie can't help himself
despite Puls tendency to be obedient.

Hard to judge in a person. It's more a cat activity - but you always
know it when a puls is jumping down from somewhere, they land with a
definite thud. As if they want that firm connection or security to
ground as soon as possible is how I thought of it.
Phos types for example, land more like a feather, lightly even though
they may be tall and not small at all.

I used to have a Puls cat who I took to cat shows simply to calm
other cats who showed well but were anxious in the car (like phos and
Sulph types)
No good showing her as if the judge did not like her on sight ... esp
if a man - well forget it.

Makes sense they like it tidy.

Will only complain if it is something they hate to do.
They will still do it.

They are quite rules oriented.
Will take it on themselves to discipline (good built-in parent
skills) other cats breaking what they know to be the rules:-)

It is an interesting study and let me add what I found in Knerr
looking at some of the items
out later, may be slim now);
Puls is in both Size Large(bloated, spongy)

and Size -thin, emaciated, lean, slender, spare

and is of equal grade in both

Desire for fish - Puls is there. Looks like Hering being the
favorite int that )( not under desire for meat but I am not sure
about Ostrich)
