Not necessarily!!!!!
Aside from the "constitutional" question, cantharis will *not* work for
every burn (at least not in my understanding); you'd need to take the
case etc.
If burn symptoms are generic and not guiding, then the "constitutional"
is perhaps the best step. OTOH in that case perhaps simple topical
treatment would be best.
That's because it's used by different people to mean different things;
you need to *ask* in what way the person is using it!
In some cases it absolutely would.
In other cases perhaps not...

Re: Eye Ulcer
I suffer from a similar condition. I have cornea damage as a result of shingles. My Homeopath has tried everything in the polycrest. Nat. Mur seemed to be right on but did not do it. I am now at the mercy of the eye dr. (steriods & antibiotics=( )
I've never tried staph, but I did have a staph infection in the eye...
What potency do you rec. working with the staph?
I'm wondering if that might be what I need...Has anyone ever dealt with eye issues as a result of shingles?

Re: Eye Ulcer
Hi Charles,
There are 2 misunderstandings in the above.
1)
Staph. infection is caused by Staphylococcus. Staph. in homeopathy
means Staphisagria, a plant.
2)
While Staphisagria is meantioned in eye issues, my recommendation was
based on the fact that in the case at hand the ulcer was caused by a
scratch on the cornea. Staph is specific for this kind of trauma
generally (e.g. for cuts with a knife) and especially for such kind of
trauma of the eye.
In your case I should interprete it as being sequelae of herpes
zoster, for which there are specific rubrics. Also Ardavan's approach
may come in handy, seeing the infection with the specific herpes virus
as the ponos and your condition as the pathos. This would mean to look
at the remedy for this viral infection and individualize the remedies
mentioned there.
Regards
Luise
