This reminds me of a breeding experiment that was done with cats. From memory, the cats were fed a poor diet of pasteurised milk and tinned food - and allowed to breed. Each generation was kept on the same diet. By the 4th generation they were sick cats - allergies and all sorts of diseases. These 4th generation sick cats were then changed to a healthier raw food diet and the breeding continued with the following generations kept on the raw foods. By the 4th generation this time the cats were extraordinarily healthy.

Maybe even the inheritance of poor diet effects can be a part of the miasmatic damage and part of inherited susceptibility. I'm guessing it's got something to do with a nutritional impact/toxic damage on gene expression.

Gail, this is an extraordinarily interesting thread, and the article you cite is important. I've been on the verge of writing that I'd noticed that three things seem to make a huge difference, even in an individual over 10 or 20 years, and certainly even within the space of one generation to another:
a) Good diet -- natural, whole foods
b) Good hygiene -- getting enough rest, exercise, calm, connection with the earth.
c) Refraining from allopathic treatment
It's amazing how powerful these decisions are!
(Hahnemann already knew this, of course!)
